One of my friends told me that he wanted to "lick me in the nuts" and then paused and I started laughing. He quickly took it back and said he meant to say "kick".

Do you think he really meant what he said or that lick and kick are pretty similar?

I don't think I am. I spend a lot of time with friends and I'm generally loud and obnoxious, but at home I tend to stay shut up in my room. I have a reason for it; I'm writing.

Writing is my passion, and it is what I love to do best. Writing however requires peace and quiet and as I have three dogs, two younger siblings, and both of my parents living with me, outside of my room can be very loud and I can't concentrate.

My parents think that it's "unhealthy" or something.

A guy that I've dated (he asked me out) and have been sleeping with for the past 2 years just told me he didn't find me attractive. I consider myself very attractive-e.g. blond hair, blue eyes, skinny, sexy body, dress sexy etc. And many men find me attractive. Nobody has ever told me this before. So I am confused about the definition of attraction. Then I asked him, "So there are even men out there who would find a hottie like Jessica Alba not attractive?" And he said yes. He said beauty is in the eye of the beholder/is subjective. Is this true-that each of us find different people (e.g. their face and body) attractive? I feel I have all the standard/typical physical qualities that a man would consider attractive in a woman. And I don't think he would have dated and had sex with me all those times if he didn't find me attractive. So I don't understand why he would say something like this.

is there a general rule to follow after breaking up with a borderline? i was married to one and actually she left me and is very cold like she doesn't care. something inside me though says I'm not done with her by a long shot because i was very caring and gave her a ton of attention. I doubt she can just go cold turkey. something says watch out because from what i've read, she's not done with me. for those of you that have borderline, is this true? I just have a bad feeling. I have been leaving her totally alone to do whatever while lawyers sort out the details.

My fiancé is insisting on inviting her ex to our wedding. I told her that this will make me uncomfortable but she says she wants her friend there. She is friends with his wife. Now I know she will not cheat on me and if she did it would not be with him but I still feel uncomfortable about him being there. She says that I am not taking into account how she would feel telling one of her friends that they can not come to our wedding. I suggested his wife come with her brother or a friend and she said that she won’t come without her husband.
I am looking into buying a weekend getaway package to anonymously giving to them that would require them to be out of town that day. I am talking about a nice romantic weekend at a bed and breakfast near them. Is this being to sneaky? Being direct with her doesn't work. Being honest with her on how I feel and even admitting that my feelings are irrational doesn't work.

A: Only one, but the light bulb has to want to change.

A psychology teacher taught me that joke, and it said it was very indicative of patients, they had to want to change to get better. Do you think that is wise?

Me: I did not want to take the dog to the park.
Her: I have a thought but I will keep it to myself.
Me: What is your thought?
Her: I think you worry about that dog too much.
Me: Its not that I am worried about the dog, I just did not want to be bothered with him.
Her: I should have just kept my mouth shut. You are too defensive.
Me: How am I defensive? Your opinion was based on me being worried about the dog.
Her: It doesn’t matter; there is no talking to you.
Me: ??????????????????????????

It's been 10 months and we're still close but he doesn't show me any signs of intrest in me the person he's going to be ruling with...I talked to him about it and he didn't say anything, litterally, so should I push for the rule in order to benefit @ least 12+ other people or just leave it alone? Also with this ruling I keep wanting him to be around me, and I don't want that right now.
