is there a general rule to follow after breaking up with a borderline? i was married to one and actually she left me and is very cold like she doesn't care. something inside me though says I'm not done with her by a long shot because i was very caring and gave her a ton of attention. I doubt she can just go cold turkey. something says watch out because from what i've read, she's not done with me. for those of you that have borderline, is this true? I just have a bad feeling. I have been leaving her totally alone to do whatever while lawyers sort out the details.

I got news for you; she DOESN'T care, and never will, as this is a hallmark of Borderline Personality Disorder. Cold turkey is possible, unless there is something in it for her to stay attached to you, like money or status. You are smart to leave her alone; I wouldn't want her issues with abandonment to get their ugly claws into you.
When I meet a sociopath, narcissist, or borderline (and I've become an expert in identifing them in no time at all), I run as fast as I can in the opposite direction. These people are only out for their own interests, and don't give a rat's *** about anybody else.

I kinda have gentle indicators of BPD. And am o.k. responsive to the way it may **** up somebody and human beings around him/her. those with borderline character sickness have severe concern of abandonment and that i think that's why she's making those threats (in a thank you to get you decrease back.) My advice could be - attempt to be as mushy as possible. they're very comfortable, and vulenrable. So do no longer basically bypass cruel and snap. attempt to have a mushy verbal exchange and make her have faith which you're no longer leaving in the back of her (whether you're). definite, this is totally annoying that she's being so obsesesd and calls you like that a lot situations an afternoon. in line with threat slowly and slowly dissociate from her instead of seeing her as all manipulative and psycho-*****. whether issues they do could look "no longer making sense in any respect." It maeks sense in a manner they have severe concern of being abandonment and next temper swings. in case you may, have some empahty (whether this is nto that straight forward.) after all, you enjoyed her as quickly as, top? you're able to be assertive on an identical time as being comfortable and being concerned slightly. Sorry if I sound too a lot professional-borderliny. definite, they're perplexing. yet in a manner, they're very fragile too. good success.
