I've heard of it,but I've never heard of doctors that actually practice it.How effective is it?

.....Developed by Arthur Janov, Ph.D., it was supposed to be a way for patients to express their inner painful feelings, which he saw as instrumental in resolving those feelings. However, there never appeared any published research that substantiated the effectiveness of primal screaming. In the absence of this kind of peer review, practically no mainstream psychologists use it anymore, especially with the effective modalities of clinical cognitive psychology available.

Janov, however, still believes in it and practices it, of course.

First - -how in the world do you collect 86 thousand points??!!!

Not sure about Doctors using it, but "Primal scream" is actively practised in my house -- I have four teenage sons who effectively use it to keep my wife and I wide awake most nights.
