When something bad happens,
ask "What's the message in this? What's the lesson?"
Don't suppress negative feelings altogether; they can be great motivators.
It's disgusting to meet little Miss Cheerful Sweetness.
Gotta be real and honest.
But, remember, you're not a victim of the world you see.
You invented the world YOU SEE by your thoughts from the past. Let it go, and be willing to move forward, and
be willing to see things from another perspective.

Example: I cried and cried when my first love broke my heart, but now I see it was the best thing that ever happened, because I could find someone better.

Don't take anything personally.
Channel your anger in a way that will benefit, like go to gym!
Always do your best.
Don't look for blame.
Meditate or pray or spend some silent time every day.

I don't think it's possible to be 100% positive 100% of the time about 100% of life's circumstances. That you would make an effort puts you ahead of where you'd be if you didn't. You're doing better than you think.

A timeless question no doubt.

Unfortunatly, I dont think anyone is ever perpetually happy.

Life gets worse, then better, etc, etc.
What you can do though, which helped me, is remember.
Remember a happy time. Now I know that sounds like regurgitated Peter Pan, but it helps.

Now, I'm not saying think about the time in particular, but more remembering, and "re-feeling" the mood, the state of well-being.
Something cool and calm, but warm and happy as well.
Confidence helps too. Assertiveness. Smile.

Most importantly, remember this....
"Happiness is not a destination, it's a manner of traveling."

Take Care

Accept a simple yet the most enduring law of nature ie" The only permanent thing in our life is CHANGE".So, bad or tough times have to go,sooner or later. It may not be possible to sustain positive thoughts under severe and trying conditions, like when things go from bad to worst and no relief is visible till eternity.Under such conditions it is easier to sustain our selves thinking that sooner or later, the law of nature has to prevail and the kind of change from trying conditions has be different from such situations. That difference, and if it is a difference, has to be better than what it is now.Try it and if found useful, please pass it on to others.

I focus on the fact that there are many more people in the world that are worse off then I am and the problems I have seem very small compared to theirs. We always think we have it so bad when something in our life goes wrong, but there are people that have positive attitudes and don't know if they will survive another day or eat another meal or be able to clothe their children. If you think about them everyday when something in your life doesn't go the way you want. Then your problems won't seem that bad.

It's the attitude you take when life throws a curve. It's the spirituality you draw from and the strength you find from within to continue, no matter what the circumstances.

Just focus on the positive side, and if it's a problem you're examining, find a solution that could benefit everyone.
