Or do you just feel like it fascilitates a media in which to let your hair down and not have to be embarrassed later or 'answer any questions' from people you know?

I don't feel having an avatar that looks different than we do is dishonest. It can be a lot of fun. Mine looks like a younger me.

This is actually a pretty neat question. I had thought of this too about whether it was dishonest or not.

I would if I had an avatar that looked different than me, but I have a picture of myself. Can't get more honest than that. The only thing peculiar about it is that I am relaxed and on vacation. That doesn't happen too often!

I would feel dishonest...that's why I have an avatar that looks pretty similar to me. I could have picked a more attractive one, but I wanted it to be the closest one to "me."

My picture looks enough like to me for anyone that knows me to do a double take but not enough like me to be convicted on it. haha
