VERY selective. Because majority of people are stupid and I don't like stupid people.

We are all naturally selective when it comes to friendships, or, at least, to the degree of friendship/intimacy with others. Likeness and liking, familiarity, attractiveness, group membership, etc. influence it.
Evolutionary biology could explain it, as it usually does, as a mechanism of survival.

I have lots of acquaintances but just a few good friends because I hate being friends with people who lie to me so when I find someone lying to me, I just stop trying to be as close a friend to him/her and just consider that person to be an acquaintance. I had rather have 3 true friends than 100 unreliable, dishonest ones.

I'm generally open to being friends with nearly anyone -- you can learn so much by being open as long as you're sure of who you are -- and then the decision of how close that friendship will be depends on the kind of person they show themselves to be and how they feel about me.

I'm very friendly and make friends almost everywhere i go but, i have a very tight knit group of friends who I do everything with and it's hard to break into our group.

Can I tell you that I am not anybody special to think that I can shun someone else. Anybody who wants to join, can. The more the merrier. However, if you cause problems or creat cliques within the group, for get me.

I'm not sure how to answer this...
I have trouble warming up to people. It's hard to talk to them. If I can start a conversation and they don't seem like a compleat idiot or a jerk, I'll let them in.

nah, i have lots of friends, from old people, to young people, smart, dumb as hell, junkies, cholos, socials, punks etc, i like to have variety in my conversations, thats why im not selective when it comes to friends
