.....In fact, every normal person uses both sides numerous times a day.
- Right side associating the imagery of feelings and perceptions - arts, feelings, intuition, imagination, etc.
- Left side categorizing and relating language-based information - math, logic, practical facts, scientific concepts, etc.

But some people prefer using the mental abilities of one side of the cerebral cortex more than the other. And some people have a balance in this preference, using both sides equally.

This is the way I am. It allows me to be visually creative in my thinking, and also logical for critical judgment, planning and organization. I've found this balanced preference to be very helpful in judgment and problem solving.

In the beginning I was left brained. Over time I have switched over to right brained. Realizing this I've been taking measures to regain my left brain like Sudoku, math problems, etc. Maybe at some point I'll become bi-brained. When that happens I can add an rd to the bi and be normal again. Chirp, chirp!

Everybody uses both hemispheres of their brains.

Literature, which deeply involves langage, for instance, relies heavily on the language-processing area on the left.

Haven't looked at the site you pasted, but anyone who thinks that people are "right-brained" or "left-brained" don't understand either the brain or humans very well.

There are books and websites written for the lay reader (non-scientists, that is), which are scientifically sound.

Perhaps you'd be interested in reading them, rather than reading people who don't know what they're talking about.

I've just glanced at the site. In general, people who talk about 2 brains don't know what they're talking about.
