I walk into my bedroom, go to the window to open it, and innertwined maggots are spilling out of it onto my bed, the wood beneath them is old and rotted, yet the rest of the window remains unchanged. Despite the fact that there are maggots at the head of my bed, I lay down and go to sleep anyways, laying closer to the foot of the bed. Having given up on the idea of opening the window I suppose.
I don't remember anything else between this and the next sequence.
I walk downstairs, go into my kitchen open my cupboard to get a glass. When I open the cupboard there is a single fly, crawling around in the glass... I stare at it for a bit, and close the cupboard.

This is all that I remember
However everytime I have this dream, I wake up at the foot of my bed, which I'm assuming just means I really thought there were maggots at the head of my bed during some point.

I've seen three therapists now, the last was a Psychologist. I'm seeing her currently but I'm thinking that no one can help me but me. I have social anxiety and I've talked about it and gotten what I felt out. But only I can make myself get out and do things, right? And until I do I'll be miserable, right? So should I just stop going to see her and start getting around more people and focused on things that I love? I'm taking guitar lessons monday.

My mother was domineering and put me under psychological pressure to conform to her way of thinking, and would throw a wobbley (ie a nervous breakdown) if I did something she disapproved of. She's dead 8 years but I still hear her voice in my ear!

My boyfriend and I seem to get along ok except for one problem....I'm a non traditional adult college student who is very open minded and committed to learning. He is very intelligent and we can have very intellectual debates. The problem is that he wants to debate everything! He wants to take the opposing view and challenge the textbooks, challenge the professor....etc. It makes me feel like I'm being personally attacked when he dismisses my opinion or wants to prove me wrong. Why does he do this? Is it arrogance? Insecurity? He has a history of drug/alcohol abuse but is clean now and has been in recovery. He says its my problem because I'm disagreeing with him. He doesn't acknowledge my feelings and just tells me that I'm wrong. I'm a peacemaker and I'm not concerned with "winning" a debate. I just want to be respected for my opinion. What's going on here?

i'm in seventh grade and am studying the holocaust in my language arts class. i find the unit interesting, however seeing the pictures of the extremely skinny people and their shaved heads and things and seeing the dead bodies really takes a toll on me. i started this unit a week ago in school and haven't gotten a very good night's sleep since then. anyone have any suggestions on how i can cope with this?

When tired, different individuals show different tendencies or even characters for seeking a relief. Perhaps it has something do with the uniqueness of our individuality. As I see it, there are always striking differences when we opt for relief. But why so ?

I was never breastfed, I don't think. When I was born my parents divorced and so my dad took care of me and he fed me formula all the time.
Could that have effected my growth when I was younger? Could it have been the result of my depression?
Well, I don't think I have depression. Or maybe I do? I don't want to make a big deal about it. I'm 15, so it's normal to feel moody I guess.. please list sources if available.

For me in particular it's popping bubble wrap

OR squashing oasis (you know that weird green stuff floristis use to make displays) as violently and messily as possible.

I'm sure there's loads more but those 2 i find particularly relaxing.

What about you?

What does it mean if you CONSTANTLY, and I mean constantly dream about someone you have feelings for? I've been dreaming about him for the past week and a half, but he has absolutely no clue that I have feelings for him. Actually, I'm not even sure if I have "feelings" for him. Some days I do, and some days I don't just because the way he acts towards me. But I have been constantly dreaming about him. Can anyone tell about this?
