For me in particular it's popping bubble wrap
OR squashing oasis (you know that weird green stuff floristis use to make displays) as violently and messily as possible.
I'm sure there's loads more but those 2 i find particularly relaxing.
What about you?

OMG There are some absolutley brilliant answers here!
Thank you soo much
I also colour in, and eat hula hoops off my fingers and sort out smarties into colour order and do things my mum told me not to.
I love being at the beach and digging a hole with my kids and burying my legs in it then swaying from side to side! lmao
I'm such a child!
I can't decide who's best so i'm going to leave it to the public vote. Good luck everyone xx

I line up chocolate buttons in size order and eat them.
Eat Hula Hoops off the ends of my fingers.
Group Smarties according to colour.
Eat Malteasers by biting off the top and getting all the honeycomb out with my tongue and then putting the chocolate shell on my tongue.
Eat puffy crisps (like Snaps, who remembers Snaps?) by sucking them until they melt.
Hmm, seems mine are all about food.
Flyinghorse - doing things my mother told me not to do is a close second. Last year on holiday I went in the sea *gasp shock horror* less than an hour after eating!! It felt really rebellious.
[Edit: how can this possibly be a "bad" answer? Mother, is that you??]

This might not be considered childish - but it's something I have found very helpful to my hands and wrists. I am constantly using both for playing piano and organ and typing - but I squeeze a rubber duck which is shaped and fits like the palm of your hand. It's good for relieving tension. I also play with the ends (corners) of bed sheets. It helps me during stress times. Also, I like to make popcorn and take it in the movies with me. I don't buy ANYTHING! I know that is childish, but it's my way of retribution because I think they are ridiculous in how they charge for a ticket price and brand new movies have all kinds of lines and creases in it.

When I can recall some phrase that I used to say when I was little, and then I start using in again. Like "yeah-huh", "I'm telling" and "I know you are, but what am I?"
Speaking in a childlike voice and smiling and saying "nothing" when someone asks me what I'm doing.
When I'm at the shore, I look for and collect sea shells. And at the beach, I pretend to have a cooking show and that the ocean and sand are my ingredients.

Oh...a lot!
- Dancing like crazy in the living room
-Talking to cartoon characters
-Entering an empty room and imagining that everybody loves me and going back and re-entering the room again, because I loved what they said lol
-Watching the changing forms of the clouds and watching more cartoons this way
-Doing everything my mother told me not to do with food when I am alone. Like drinking directly from the bottle of water or eating a cake with my hands :-)

I like sitting on the floor in the living room and playing cars with my son. Coloring books, messy finger paints or anything else that brings me back to my own childhood! I love to role play with my son - he's the parent and I am the child! Try it sometime with anyone, I love it!

LOL
Watching Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, Sylvester.....
Walt Disney cartoons!
I love 'em and always get a good laugh out of them, whilst the kids will watch so serious faced, that makes it even funnier!
I like your question!

Colouring in. I have a stash of books hidden from the kids and my own set of pens and pencils. It's great when I am feeling stressed or annoyed.
