Please, I´d like you to tell me if you think I´m crazy or something´s wrong with me.
I´m a very conservative person, catholic. I´m against abortion, same sex wedlock and divorce.
On the other hand I´m economically liberal, and want more openess in America towards immigrants. I also feel we should do something to help Africa.I´m against death penalty, too. This is my problem: My conservative friends say I´m liberal _ I have shocked many of my frineds by telling them I love U2 ´, David Crowder and Mc Donald´s..!!!
On the other hand, liberals say I´m narrow-minded.
When Republicans won in 2004 I was glad because they have moral values, when they lost last year I was also glad because I dont like Bush´s foreign policy!
So, I seem not to fit anywhere!!!!!! I´m not comfortable with my liberal friend who talk all the time about dirty things and are obsessed with sexual matters, but I also dislike the attitude of those priggish people who think rock and roll is the devil´s music!

Im crying because I just came back from two local pubs from where I was barred and put on the Pubwatch scheme about 3 years ago, which means you cant go in any pub in town. I was a real drunken mess then, getting paraletic on a regular basis. Now though I feel Ive changed. Its my son's 18thbirthday todayand my family are going to the local for a while to celebrate. Next week is Mothers Day and my sister & brother intend to have a meal out at a local pub. Anyway I just went round corner to these two local pubs and tried to explain that I no longer binge drink and am adifferent person nowadays ever since the shock of being in prison last year wore off. I hardly touch alcohol, I tried toexplain this to the two landkeepers, only to have the landlady grab my arm and say "Out. Youre not wanted here. Idont care if you do say youve changed get out now before I phone the Police". The other landlady said similar when I asked if I could explain to her I'm trying to make new start in life.

Just curious, but how many of you believe that visualization actually causes events to line up in a supernatural way?

I don't doubt that it has a profound effect on performance in particular, but i've heard enough people swearing by unexplainable events happening in line with what they were visualizing.

I've never been truly happy with myself, probably because I end up comparing myself to other people and it doesn't help that I've always struggled with jealousy. I'm ridiculously insecure, which in addition to being annoying and destructive to self-esteem, doesn't help my relationships with people (be they romantic or platonic) because I need a lot of reassurance and get very paranoid that my friends don't really like me or that they're just hanging out with me to be nice.

I'm 20 years old and have been dealing with this my whole life, it's tiring. I need it to stop.

How do I become happy in myself and stop comparing myself to other people? How do I become less jealous and more secure? How do I build my self-esteem?

there's someone that i know who keeps saying "shut up" when u talk to him, he's saying it for joking...but it's sometimes irritating when u are talking to him seriously and he answeres: shut up......so i'm looking for sth to answer him when he says "shut up",,,so i would let him down!!!

I love visiting Youtube, Some Blogs, My Space,..etc....
THere are many comments that are worth reading (against or pro) However, there are "others" that are almost Unhealthy to read.
Saying "I Hate This or That" .. could be understandable..
BUT What I find interesting is that ("Active Haters")
they purposedly look for what they hate to put comments on and spend weeks on that ..Amazing ¡¡ ( I personally don't have time for that and I really don't understand),.
I Avoid what I don't like And respect Other's Taste.

My supervisor, Mike threatened me on Thursday. His body was shaking and he was emotionally unstable. I reported him. The next day, my working professional colleague, Mary, confronted him on all the vicious things he was doing and trying to do to me. They were yelling and screaming. She threatened him. She said things like "you are absolutely disgusting" "don't you dare touch her"

...but words can never hurt me? What idiot came up with this one? That is totally not true. Words can make us hurt ourselves and even prompt suicide. And if your in politics, it doesn't even need to be someone else words. Your own words can be just as, if not more, destructive then anyone elses. Also look at the War of the Worlds radio incident, that was all words. And y2k would have essentially been caused by words or worse a lack of words since that is all a program is. There is even the literal intrepetation of this saying. Have you ever held a dictionary? Some of those things are heavy. You could definately hurt a guy with a dictionary

Speak up if you are one of these people, please.
It is good and superlatively necesary to communicate one's feelings, especially if these hold resentment which can be disarmed through exposure - otherwise these feeling stay inside us like a swallowed link of barbed wire. I was going to say Crown of Thorns, but then thought there may be some folks who'd think I was trying some mockery upon the ordeal of Christ. I don't want to sink into more obscure, murky waters by that analogy.
It has taken courage of exposure to write about my concern twice - I will not ask it of you again, however.
Therefore, ANYONE, offended by my answers, questions, who may think I am being deliberately offensive come forward with your own complaints if you have them about me?
I had said once that this website was alike a family. The anonymity I must accept - but there have been countless times when many of you, have helped
