Listen to what your heart says. If you love your life right now, then don't sacrifice ot for the future because you won't ever know what the future will bring and you don't want to to be sitting somewhere in the next 20 years thinking "what if I hadn't give all that up. Only sacrifice something if YOU know your life can't move on unless you do.

It just depends on you. What you want and your personality. I know this is a lame example, but on the show "Grey's Ananotmy" most of them have given up relationships to advance, and even if they do have relationships, it's usually with someone who is also dedicated to their work and not as focused on the relationship part. If you feel you are better off being succesful and you are capable of giving up relationships, then maybe thats whats best for you. If you are a person that need attention and love from another, then its not such a good idea, because you will be miserable. Just remember that their are other people involved in your decision. Think about how it will affect them.

What do you mean by success? It depends on the success that you're trying to achieve.Relationships themselves are a path to success.A career can bring you satisfaction and fulfillment for most of your life. While a long relationship is a support until you die. It can be really hard, but if the connection is real then both of you would do anything to be together.Plus, you have a shoulder to cry on when old success stabs you in the back.Everything that's worth it, it's hard to get or maintain

Yes they can be. And the choice is yours. But before you cast your career dreams aside to raise children and keep a home running smoothly, promise yourself that when the kids are grown and you are alone again, that you will polish off your old career dreams and rethink them. Then you can make a move albeit a late move. Keep it Real.

If you are considering pursuing a real "career" and not just a job, then it will require sacrifices. I wish I knew what career you might be thinking of giving up for motherhood and housekeeping before you make a choice. Just make sure you don't have to manage BOTH!! @8-) Good Luck!!

As the saying goes. Its lonley at the Top.

We are must make sacrifices in our lives, and everyones worth it are different. Relationships more times then not, dont last a life time for many reasons. I say, live your life as you choose, know whats important to you and what your happiness is. Success or ????? because in the end, if you are not happy, then you have failed you.

I think it truly depends on what kind of relationship you have with someone. If you feel so close to someone I think you shouldnt have to sacrifice them for success. Make your relationship stronger by having them there every step of the way. I think you should think about what it is successful means to you. Everyone is different but for me the love of my life and my children are the ultimate success! It is hard to find someone special, so if you do don't let them go, unless they are toxic to your life. But I would definately say no.

I think it depends on what your long term goal in life is. Sometimes we have to make difficult choices in life to get where we want to go. If a relationship is strong enough and secure enough, it should be able to withstand changes that have to be made in order to acheive your success.

It depends on what your meaning of success is. I've heard my pastor say that life is relationships and if you have failed at relationships you have failed at life.
