......do the best you can do, and let the rest of it go.
Just dont beat yourself up over things you cant control.
If you do your level best, and learn from your mistakes, you wont feel so overwhelmed.

I may be dreaming, but I hope things have changed enough over the years since I was in school. Are there any counselors at school, advisers of any type that may be able to help. In my fairytale world, I imagine people at school who
are there just for your sort of issue. They can teach you how to use relaxation methods, maybe even teach a yoga class in the afternoons. Well, I am probably dead wrong and you are dealt with the same sorts that I had!.
I can only think of what puts me in that mood. It is usually
procrastination. I am the Queen of Cram. I think the above "answerer" was correct. You just got to focus and get the "work" stuff done before you can go and play. If I don't...
play is not nearly as fun anyway...because I have all this other
garbage hanging over me. It is like not having all my outfits ready for the work week by Sunday night. It would cause total
anxiety if I got up for work one day and the slacks were not ironed, if I had to search for hose without holes. If Sunday wasn't my get it together day, then the rest of the week would be a mess, and I would have to get up 30 precious minutes earlier. God forbid!!!!
So try the suggestion she gave you -write a list, when it is all done, then it is play time. Try it for just one week, whatcha got to lose but all that anxiety!!
Take care of yourself and don't sweat the small stuff!!!

This is how I do it.Take a deep breath and let it out slowly, clear your mind and plunge in.That's mostly stress.Pressure from things to do I deal with like this..I close my eyes and arrange a list with the things I don't want to do first then down from there and it gets easier and easier as I do my list. Then at the end I give myself a reward..Hope this helps!!When I am overwhelmed if I take a minute to arrange things in my head it helps a lot.You have to practice this a few times before you will see fantastic results..

Me too! I have the same issue. The pressures from everyday life can be too much. You have to do what you love and do the very best you can. Sometimes a schedule helps. Tell yourself to study so many hours a day and there are no excuses. If you're like me, you love it, but getting started is hard. No excuses. If you're feeling pressure, stick to the schedule and schedule yourself some time to relax. What do you like to do? I like to play scrabble, read books and well, drink and have sex, but only after the things I need to do are done. When I stick to the schedule, it's not so intimidating. It's only when I do what I feel like, that I find myself cramming and having anxiety about my grades and work.

That sound like me too. I think it's important to make time for yourself after all the stresses of everyday life and studying.
Like so many others I'm trying to juggle the house, my three kids and college at the moment so I sometimes feel on top of it and other days I feel totally out of my depth and overwhelmed.
I hope you find something that works for you, good luck.

Learn different relaxation techniques and how to solve problems better. You can go on the internet and look up these techniques, try different ones and find what works best for you. It's great that you are aware of this and willing to work on this now, before it gets out of hand. Good luck to you!

Think about what is important: Your soul, your family, your friends. Make fewer commitments, none if possible. Finally, feed your soul with something solid like reading a psalm and a chapter of the gospels every day. Best wishes to you.
