My moods change a lot. With my friends I am happy and usually I am good. But then there are time, within the same day, that I do not want to see anyone. I just want to forget about everything. I feel stressed. Is it normal to have changing moods. Like one minute optimistic the next pessimistic. Or should I see a doctor?

If the Nation honours you for your achievement, that must be some buzz. If you buy an honour, surely it's like making yourself a cardboard badge, knowing that you made it and means nothing?

The one who is hardest on the kid. Well I see this common in girls, and with boys it is opposite. Why?

I can't figure out whether I should get a doctorate in Physical Therapy or an MA in Physical Therapy. The pay seems to be the same according to the AAPTA for each. What are the benefits besides a title for getting the doctorate? Can someone help with this? What is the point of getting the doctorate if your pay is going to be the same as someone with the MA or in some cases even the BA? I personally feel it's a bit ludicrous.

I was just thinking about that. How do they really know what mommy/or whoever says when she says "I love you". How do they know the emotion? How do they know what they're saying when they say it back. Usually, mom's don't tell them because I don't think there is a way to describe it to them. ( well maybe they do, I'm not a mother but...) So how do they get to know what love is. And when they do say it or feel it, how do they know if it's love they are feeling.

skinny means you are an adult of average or taller height and weigh less than 120 lbs. If you are like this I want to know:
What is the most you have ever eaten in one sitting? What would you consider "pigging out"?

do you think we really need to work at all on fridays anymore? why yes and why no?

what do you think might happen to society in general if morning people worked early a.m. to early p.m. shifts; afternoon people worked early p.m. to later p.m. shifts; and night people worked from the late evening to early morning? what about all of us choosing which days out of 7 that we work on?

it would take companies using heat & electricity all night long; public transportation running around the clock.

but wouldn't it reduce stress? or, would there be a new stress due to husband & wife working different schedules?

wouldn't it reduce overloads on expressways, therefore reducing the need to forever patch holes on highways?

would it reduce road rage, rush hour nervousness?

would it reduce the stress of having to do laundry & shopping on saturdays/sundays only? would you change the day you do the chores?

do you think you'd have better time w/your family with such changes?

Everysince he was little, he had to deal family issues such as his biological mother and stepmother abusing him, his father verbally hurting him, etc. He suffered despression at an early age but know one knew about it except me. Some of the kids in our school bullied him and was rejected by the people he trust the most and that kinda damaged the guy alot.Right now, he has so much anger an hatred inside of him. All he can think of is murder and more violence towards his enemies. He always comes up to me and tell me about his murder plans and they are extremely brutal/sickening. He has a huge fascination for decapitated/mutilated bodies and others disgusting stuff. It is so unbelievable. There was an essay in school, he wrote some thing which led the teacher to call his parents.
The counseler said he has some mental disorder.

I am like the only person in school he talks to happily. He gets so nervous infront of people. He even hids from them.

I am worried about him!

whenever he see's a sentence of words like on a sign or poster, label, books ect...he can naturally add up the amount of letters in that sentence in 2 seconds...i mean a sentence which has alot of words....like yesterday he added the words "THE AUSTRALIAN WOMENS WEEKLY COOKBOOK" in less than 2 seconds...he adds it in a flash...he feels its a problem,we tested him yesterday and the little bugger gets it right all the time...he added "swimming pool and spa association of victoria" in 2 seconds too...what does this mean when someone has this habit and can add it all up so quick?

Outside of aggression and psychotic people, why would someone not be afraid to let you seem them staring at you? Because normally, I think if you caught someone who was staring at you, they would turn away, but if they don't, what is this about?

It's becoming more and more of a problem for me. I love hiking and doing things outdoors, but while others enjoy beautiful views from a high point, I can't even look because it makes me feel dizzy and sick. I also can't look out windows in airplanes, can't climb stairs that are too open, etc. How can I get over this?

an older male role model in my life that i really like and look up to recently told me he's having a baby with his wife. i never thought he'd have kids. but now i just can't get my mind off of it and it actually had made me cry. i don't know why but i feel upset over the issue and i don't want to feel sad about it anymore. even thinking about him caring for a cute little baby makes me melt inside. i dont want to feel sad or even left out...but saying that makes me feel incredibly selfish. what can i do to just be happy for him and not be sad over the fact he's having a baby??

Hi.. I went to this clinic today that gives therapy courses on how to reach your subconcious mind to know what exactly causes you pain & etc... it's called the "Fourth Method of unlocking the subconcious mind r'somethin".. not sure bout the FOURTH spelling though,, it's supposed to be the name of the guy who invented this..,, anyways..

Does anyone know anything about this? any info would be helpful,
And, what is it called? gimme the key word I have to google, coz I'm soo new to this.. n'it seems interesting ...

I'll tell ya abit more bout what the shrink asked us to do, 1st he asked us to relax n'clear our minds, then think of something that effects us in the present, then gave us magazines n'asked us to cut up 4pictures we feel we relate to & paste them on a peice of paper n'draw or write anything else we want. Then he started analysing our work n'etc... what is this called & is there another artistic way to tell how a person feels?

+any helpful sites?!
thnx alottttt

I've tried everything, art, music, writing, programming, making a website, sports, et cetera. I'm not attractive either Everyone I know is good at something, while I'm either bad or mediocre. The only things I'm somewhat decent at are Dance Dance Revolution and finding random funny crap online. Is there some kind of mental disorder that might cause an inability to grasp concepts that make one useful to society?

I am looking at a CompUSA ad that came in todays paper. The ad lists a Monster Cable 2 Meter HDMI cable for $99.99, Reg $119.99 save $20 instantly.

You can buy similar cables for about $10. Since these cables transfer digital signals, they either work or they don't. The performance of the $10 cable is the same as the $120 cable.

I need some advice. I know usually when I do something that I consider wrong I remember it for a long time and usually for the most part remember the details. So a month ago I almost did something really bad (its like unusual for me to ever consider doing something this wrong--something was like pushing me to) and i remember rushing home scared. Its been a bout a month now later and I still look back at that day wondering whether I actually did do what I didnt intend to do. Wouldnt I remember if I did something wrong? Isnt it really hard to forget something like that because I usually remember things. How am I ever supposed to know? I dont recall doing anything wrong--in fact i remember what i did that day such as go to college and work. I dont want to live thinking I did something wrong if I never did! Please--any comments

I've been reading a little about neuro linguistic programming and would like to learn a little more. I understand it is the basis upon which Derren Brown performs much of his work, for example where he stood in a shopping centre with a megaphone and 'made' about 300 people put their hands up simultaenously just by emphasizing ceratin words in his sentences.

On another occassion, he made a group of girls (Psychology students themselves, if I remember correctly) roll up their coat sleeves on a freezing cold, snowy day just by saying standing on a stall and shouting something to the effect of:

"Roll Up! Roll Up!... There's nothing up my sleeve... Do it now!"

Surely it can't be as simple as these examples would appear, but I'd really appreciate any information you could provide me with.

Thanks.
