I've tried everything, art, music, writing, programming, making a website, sports, et cetera. I'm not attractive either Everyone I know is good at something, while I'm either bad or mediocre. The only things I'm somewhat decent at are Dance Dance Revolution and finding random funny crap online. Is there some kind of mental disorder that might cause an inability to grasp concepts that make one useful to society?

Your problem is really quite serious because until you do find an activity that you are good at,you won't be able to find a job that you are happy in and successful working at.Your comments indicate that you have been conducting a random, subjective, unprofessional and therefore completely incomplete search for an outlet for your natural talents. Not a good way to go when there are scientific tests that have been prepared to do the work for you.Call your nearest state employment office and set up an appointment to talk to a vocational counselor.Explain that you just haven't found the best career for your skills and ask to be given an interest and an aptitude test. After these two tests are scored, the vocational counselor should not only be able to tell you what your greatest skills are but also, most importantly, what type of careers are best for you to train to enter to achieve some success and enjoyment in your life.

You Darling Person You! God Bless Your Sweet and Honest Heart!! I want to give you a hug and take you home with me. You sound charming and you write well. You are also witty even when complaining or depressed. And that's just for starters. Maybe your talents DO involve being online. Bill Gates' did!
And if you have rhythm, how dull could that be? March to the beat of a different drummer perhaps? Don't run yourself down when there are so many people willing to do that FOR you!
Tell you the truth, I like your self-deprecating humor phrased as a clever question. How bad could the person behind that be? I have a hunch you need more encouragement, perhaps better friends, and a little time spent believing in yourself. Attractive doesn't always work. Mysterious smiles and humor go a long way with me and I'm not from Outer Space. I LOVE an intelligent man with a sharp wit, more than all others. Lighten up on yourself! I can tell you don't suck from Here!! @8-)

You sound a whole lot like me, at an earlier point in my life. First of all, believe in yourself. You are just as good as anyone else. The ability to find funny stuff online is an asset. Believe it or not, I am sure that there are others who would really like to be able to find that funny stuff for themselves. Because you can, they may feel that you are superior to them because they search and search, would love to find what you find, and WANT to, but just can't. Being able to dance is a plus. I'm going to guess that you are pretty fit, physically, to be able to dance as well as you do. That is impressive, and can only do good for you, IF you let it. Do not be down on yourself for what you feel that you are not good at. For the desire to be good at those things that you have problems with, keep working on it. Try changing your point of view about them. Using analogy has helped me to explain what seems complex to others. Such as the computer. I tell them to think of the hard drive as a filing cabinet with file holders in it. This is something that many can relate to, and understand. When shown the equivalency, the concept becomes understandable. Computer RAM is shown as a desk top, you can't spread out all of your books on a small desk, so you would want more space, so for a computer, with in reason, you would want more RAM. Finding an equivalency is a great way to learn, what seems difficult. So, first, be positive to yourself. Second, find a different approach that makes sense to you. I am sure that you can succeed where you want to succeed.

Some people are just born to do whatever they do and others of us have to work really hard to be good at something. I don't think you have any sort of mental disorder. You just haven't found "your thing". Don't be a quitter. Find something you enjoy and stick with it until you are good at it. Find someone willing to teach you something you'd like to do and that has the patience and the ability help you not to get discouraged.

I'm the same way. I found peace of mind and a lot of serenity when I took up gardening as a hobby. I love my flowers and enjoy giving the lawn a nice manicure. I continue to learn as I go and have met a lot of nice people who share the same interest. Try your luck with a few flowers and see if you like it. It helps to read up on whatever you are going to plant.

number one , every thing takes practise, i bet most of your friends are good at things because they spend time developing their skill. you need to pick something and stick with it, your own level of intrest will determin how good you become. Very few are born with natural expertese abilitys, talent takes dedicaation,, you seem to like computers and games so why not try some area of computer game design?

maybe you are being too hard on yourself. You may expect too much from yourself. You may actually be very good at some of these these things, but get bored very easily. Do you have ADD?Maybe you aren't challenged enough?
