I shake my head to clear it of the feelings!
Could this cause brain damage!? (not too hard, not as hard as headbanging that metalheads do.)

When I was in school I was bullied and I vowed as an adult (I’m 19) I would never be treated that way again, so when I was sure that this young lad was making negative comments about me (which was confirmed when he finally said it to my face) with the intention of his enjoyment over my ridicule, I thought ill deal with this the adult way and tell him that I don’t think he should say what he was saying to me, he laughed in my face and I realised I would have to complain about him to the college I’m in (because they have a zero bullying policy I thought the threat of getting kicked out would deter him) of course he laughed in my face about this too and I wasn’t taking seriously, so a lot of screaming followed because I couldn’t control my emotions at this point, I knew I couldn’t let it continue because I know from experience it gets worse, so once I was sure I had to act. Any way it stopped and we haven’t spoken a word to each other since I don’t blame him because he’s strait out of

I am very talented and me as others know so. I can draw, write poetry and short stories. I am a good leaner also. The only problem is that i have the bad habit of procrastinating. I usually do my homework the day before it is due and study the night before the test. Though i always have a good grade, i think it is a very big problem and i start to worry about it.

Is it possible to live without love in your life? Is it possible to not have the love of friends or family, or a girlfriend or a wife. Is it possble to live without confidants or peers. Is it possible to go through life not loving a single soul and not being loved at all?

What would the consequences be if one was not loved or liked by anyone over a period of a standard life time? Whould the person be crazy or neurotic? Would the person become an angry being? Would a person become sick and die from the lack of love? Would the person become gloomy and dark? Would the person become like a robot?

What do you think. What would the consequences be for a person living in a world without love?

Just asking.

If you can give a more in depth answer it will be appreciated. Keep in mind how many close friends you have, first impressions, and what you have in common with your friends.

Also, let me know if I cannot quote you for academic purposes

I've got nothing against them - some of my best friends are psychologists! But they tend to be a touch odd. Why is that?

Here's the backstory, we met in church when she was 15, and I was 17.
We were somewhat involved and eventually got a little serious over the next year.
I left for college when I was 18. It was then that her dad (who's currently in prison), raped her and hospitalized her younger sister.
I found this out when I came back during the summer, shortly afterwards we broke up and I moved to Maine, leaving her in Cali.

This was 2 years ago, I now have a new girlfriend and all, but I randomly found my first gf on facebook just yesterday. I can see now that she is clearly NOT doing well, and I can't help my concern.

My question is, should I do anything to show my support?

Or should I let go and try to forget her (due to the fact that she has obvious emotional issues)? If so, anyone have any advice on how to do so?

Either way I think I need to face this problem now and get it out of my system. I mean she was my first gf and it wasn't your typical break up.

Thanks,
James

Who is better at diagnosis? Who knows more? Who cares more? Who would you rather talk to? Do you think that they should both work together to help people? Are psychiatrists payed to much compared to psychologists? Tell about your preferences.

Often I think people want to go to a psychiatrist more just because they can prescribe drugs. Drugs aren't always the answer and many people have greater problems when the drugs that they take are the wrong ones, because they never actually found out what was really wrong with them in the first place.
