I shake my head to clear it of the feelings!
Could this cause brain damage!? (not too hard, not as hard as headbanging that metalheads do.)

I dont have a doctor, my parents own a small business so they are taxed heavily.

Empathic means that you feel other peoples emotions when they dont show any sign that they are feeling them.

erm, do you mean telepathic?
Empathy is where you have understanding of other people's feelings, like feeling empathy for somebody.
If you mean telepathic, then is that a problem?
You could see a therapist about your OCD.
If you have intrustive thoughts then it could be OCD or anxiety or both. Again, you could see your doctor or a therapist.
But best of all might be some relaxation teqhniques.. helps to stop that busy head!
Best of luck

Addition:
well you might be having an extreme anxiety response - read as much as you can about anxiety to see if you think that you are getting anxiety symptoms. if you are then the more you know about it and understand it, then the easier it is to cope with it.
if you really think that you are telepathic then you could read about telepathy aswell.
i would still advise going to see a doctor or talk to someone else you trust about it, maybe a local religous leader (pastor, priest etc)

addition:
please have a look at Maria Roxana's answer on the link that you give above, it seems like a good answer.

Use your thumb to gently wipe it across your forehead when you're having unwanted thoughts. It somehow seems to erase what you don't want in there. Try it. Probably much better than shaking your head.
