To the left but it depends how good a liar they are

In general people who are lying do any of these things:

-Eyes dart around,
-They won't look you directly in the eye, pupils dilate
-Increased blinking
-Touch/rub themself
-Lowering of the head
-Turns their body away from you
-Dry mouth
-Shallow breathing
-Starts playing with something their holding i.e. a drink
-Crinkling of the nose
-Touching of the face
-tightening of the lips or chinching of the jaw

Individually these signals are not definate indicators. They have to be unusual occurances i.e. a nervous person who is always looking away isnt a liar. They have to be out of the ordinary. And in most cases two or more of the indicators being shown is necessary

I say neither. If I look someone in the face while I'm trying to tell them something, sometimes their facial expression throw me off. I usually look around a little if I'm talking to someone. I know people who can look you right in the face and tell you lies and you'd never know it. Some people give it away, others don't. Honestly, I don't think you can go by the way people look to the left or right. But if they are suspicious acting, that's a good possibility they are lying.

Looking to the left is using their creative side of the brain, looking to the right is pulling from memory. This is just a theory and is not a proven thing

Most of the time they can't look you in the eyes. They look everywhere but at your face. However, I have had a few people look me in the face and flat out lie. I admit, I've told lies and I don't look at the person. No one is perfect and it would be a lie to say that I haven't lied so there's the truth.

It depends on the person. Some people can stare you in the face as they lie but have a twitchy mouth, or something else.

Very few people can lie to a person and not show it, but the indicator isn't always the same.

Neither, they blink more ONLY if they have a conscience. I use this and I'm usually right when I watch real life court stuff. I can spot the liars. My Psychology professor told me this.
NEVER tell this trick to your kids!
