My psychology professor says that the IQ is somewhat bias...if you could elaborate on this and tell me how that would be of great help...

Some things to take into account that cause bias in IQ testing or any type of psychological testing:

Culture Bias- Can the client understand and truly associate with the questions being asked?

Ex: Immigrant students won't do as well on IQ tests not because they're less intelligent but because English isn't their first language and the test being given was designed for people who have full mastery of the English language.

Underemphasis of the external situation- Are External factors affecting the Client's performance on your test?

Ex: A child is given an IQ test right before his favorite TV Show comes on. The child rushes through and doesn't pay attention so he can finish the test and go watch his show.

well, tests performance might depend on your exposure to simular problems.

ppl do better at other questions by studying why not iq ones?

also intellience might be a bit more complex than wats meausred by a lame 1 hour test
