What is the chemistry behind yawning? Is it a sign of fatigue or a bio mechanical response to an external stimuli?what kind of benefit can we get from yawning?
Everybody say we yawn because the brain lacks oxygen. But is it possible to get more oxygen to brain by yawning?I have experienced yawning while I'm running or doing exercise.

Whenever I'm reading and an emotion is described in the book, I have a habit of making the face that goes along with the emotion. Like, if a character is disgusted I'll make a disgusted face. I usually don't even know I'm doing it. I'll be sitting there making these bizarre faces and no one has any idea why. Anyway, I thought it was kind of funny, so I thought I'd ask..

I'm looking for two specific kinds of phobias.

One is the fear of looking up into the sky (either head tilted fully up or lying down and staring straight up). The other is the fear of the hands severing from the body-- whether for a specific reason or not. I haven't been able to find the names for either of these.

Am I suffering from it? If so, how do I overcome it?

I feel like I'm a perfectionist and it's getting on me nerves. Sure, it's nice to hand in neat and tidy projects, but it's holding me back. It takes me forever to even get itty bitty homework assignments done that perhaps require drawing. The other day, I had to do 5 simple drawings. It took me about 6-8 hours to complete on index cards while others took 30 minutes, hour max. My parents tell me to try and stop being so perfect on projects, but I can't really help it. Folding a piece of paper in half may take me a minute since I must perfectly crease it down the middle or it will bother me. In group projects, I unintentionally take over and it's like my way or the highway. I have a messy room and I would want to organize everything but I can't handle it, so it ends up being in a huge mess rather than organized (it'd have to be organized perfectly and just how I want it, otherwise I won't organize it at all, like a lost cause).

I have a very close male friend, whose mother died when he was around 17. It absolutely destroyed him. I did not know him before but everyone who did says he became a different person, that he withdrew completely. When we started to become close he was doing really well and coming out of his shell i truly believed we were falling in love. But we had a bit of drama due to circumstances and everything fell apart. We stopped talking and he went seriously downhill, starting drinking heavily and really changed. It took him so long to open up to me and as soon as it got hard he was gone. Is it possible he has problems getting close to women because of his mother? He hasnt had a girlfriend and ive known him for years. I also know he is not gay. One night we spent hours on the phone and he talked about his mum for the first time with me and he said he was in love with me, (he'd been drinking) The next day he took it back and that was the end of us. Is it possible he did love me but was afraid?

Given 20 / 20 hindsight, are there choices that you have made that you would change if you could or are you 100% satisfied with the results.

School started in September, and I've made a few friends, but not as much as other kids have. Now I am starting to see people just trying to be nice to me because they feel bad for me. How do I overcome shyness?

I started working at this place where they house Mentally disabled people. They school them, let them live there. It's great, but i'm walking and they approach me, talk to me.. Which is great but today we had a lecture about how a simple hug can be abuse.. or any simple little thing may be considered abuse. And they told us that if we abuse them or take away their rights...we can be sent to jail.

Some of the disabled and metally ill people in that institustion are well enough to understand and be normal. But others can be violent and hyper.. so i'm scared some of them may rush into me and push me or hug me , and then i will be fined or punished.

Should i try to distance myself whenver they walk near me. Or what?

For example, you have huge arguments with someone at work over trivial things because you secretly have feelings for eachother, but you may get along just fine with everyone else at work. Why do the feelings sometimes turn to anger?

I am 14, and I got in trouble in Spanish class quite a lot. That was because I behaved worse there than in any class. No reason to behave worse. Suspicious. One time, I was in a trance; kind of like daydreaming, shutting the mind off, not hearing anything that is being said. Like meditating. The teacher gave out tests and said not to turn them over. I did not hear that, turned it over, and got a detention. I turned the test over not on my own free will. Look, I was in a trance; I had no reason to turn it over; I never had any temptations. That one, however, I feel was superficial. The very WAY my hand moved, I know a psychic implanted the temptation in me. It felt like it wasn’t my temptation, since it was outside of my normal flow of thoughts (actually, there were NO thoughts in my state of mind). I did NOT hear what was said. Yet I DID turn it over. That was a psychic’s attempt to get me in trouble, and have fun in the process.
