This will recur and you need not worry about it. What you can do is convince yourself that you have done no wrong. If you are at ease with yourself, then the frequency of dream will be reduced. Take such things lightly and look forward to a bright future which you have.

Go out and find a new girl to help you get over her. Yes, I'm talking about using someone. It works, and it doesn't have to be a bad thing. There are many women out there who woud be happy to be 'used', because they may not want a meaningful relationship right now, just a little fun. So put on a fake smile and go out and find one of these ladies and have fun with her and you will see that your obsession with this ex-girlfreind will begin to fade. But you wil have to force yourself to do it. You will find that you appreciate yourself for doing it afterward. It's like a fat person forcing themselves to eat right and go to the gym. They want that doughnut (ex-girlfreind), but after they eat healthy for a few weeks they'll find that they feel better.
And congratulations on loving someone enough to get your heart broken. It's one of life's gifts. Even the heartache is a gift once you learn to appreciate it. An interesting movie/rollercoaster/song etc, all have dramatic highs and lows. Life is an art and yours has just become more interesting

Focus on something else. If you concentrate on something big and fun in your life, then its more likely the dreams will stop. The sky is the limit when it comes to choosing something that you will be interested in, get a job, a puppy, a new hairdo, start a band, hang somewhere new with friends, or, for best results to get your mind off of the ex, ask girls out.

I bought the "Text you ex back" ebook and it has been a real help through possibly the hardest time of my life. It's an intensive guide that explains hot to bring your ex back using simple text messages. This is the site where you can find the whole system http://getyourexback.toptips.org

I have never heard of two people being equally committed to a breakup. You are still hurt because you weren't ready to end it. Unfortunately, someone is not yours to take but yours to receive when they give themselves to you. You were given a gift but it was taken back. You will find a replacement in your mind, your heart and your dreams, once you realize she is gone.
The good news is that you are capable of loving and cherishing and those are very attractive virtues. Though, maybe a bit scarred, broken hearts will heal.

You are still fond of her. I dream about someone I knew and liked 20 years ago yet. When you share private moments with people, it never really leaves I think. Enjoy it.

Do you think of her a lot? Like before you go to bed? Usually the things I think of earlier in the day, show up in my dreams. Think about some thing else, like...KOALAS! Koalas are cool! But don't blame me if you have recurring dreams of freaky koalas...

It sounds like you haven't let go of her or had closure in this relationship. Do you have no contact now? Maybe seeing her to say good bye for good would help.
