No body can be totally happy all the time.A streak of sadness will creep in.This period may be like passing clouds. It should not be taken as a sign of weakness. It redoubles happiness when it comes. You over brim with joy when the malaise of sadness passes over.It is not a good idea to invite sad thoughts and dwell in them. I have seen some people wh\o tend to remember mostly what went wrong with them rather thinking about the happy times and be thankful for for those fine moments.

Like you I have had my happy moments but most of my life has been really unhappy now I'm OK but I'm not sure if things are really fine or is it that i just really don't care anymore. I think that i got tired of waiting for the day that was really happy i don't think that it would ever come so might as well just not care much about what happens anymore.

I tend to make myself unhappy. I think about things too much and for too long. I obsess about some things. Which isn't healthy.
However, looking back at my life I'd have to say it's a happy life. I haven't had too many things go downhill. Currently, I feel mostly happy. Dealing with my break up has made me feel more crappy in the last couple of months. Not to mention my grandmother's death. Those are actually the most traumatic things that have ever happened to me in my lifetime. So a couple of months ago was the worst part of my life so far I guess you could say.

If we try to analyze the present situation I think most of the people have been unhappy about their past and even present as well. But, truly speaking happiness and sadness are relative terms only and their occurrence is interdependent. One may feel happy or sad in comparison to others as their is no absolute definition or parameter for measuring the two. For example , one man may feel very happy if he gets Rs 1000/-as prize or gift but another rich man may not feel happy at all even if he gets gift of Rs 100,000/-. Similar is the situation for facilities and comforts. You must have heard the story about a young man who was unhappy for not having shoes to wear until one day he saw a person who did not have feet. By seeing a person without feet he could understand that he was fortunate as he was having feet to think of shoes which he may get some day and the other man was unfortunate as he will never thought of shoes.
Therefore, one should always be happy and thank the almighty for providing him with the human body which is capable of achieving all the comforts better late than never.

I am very happy. I have a good life, and I know that is a lot of it. But I think most of it comes from the fact that I know who I am. I understand this life and what it is for. I know what will happen to me when I die. My religion, (I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), has answered all my questions about life and death and the troubles of life. I feel whole and complete and I am very happy.

it depends on many factors like age ,sex ,financial capacity etc...if poor people will be happy with thing which bring small happiness(for others it is only"small")but they consider them as big and they may be
trying to find happiness in each and every action they r doing (it depends on the mentality also.. there can be people with frustrated mind lost all hopes ..they will simply finding all occurrence as unhappy we cannot blame them also for they have been living that kind of situations..experience made them behave so ) and usually rich people are considered as greedy, miser etc (this is not to insult any person there are exceptions)and they will find happiness in involving in some process which will give them money ..they will be highly stressed under all these thoughts......
age: for child his or her world is so small and they find happiness
all the time when they have been considered well...as people grow up the problems also increase and cannot find happiness in all actions and ....got depressed in many ways....
THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE IS NOT TO HURT U BUT IT IS A FACT.
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE SOLUTION TO FIND HAPPINESS IN ALL OUR DEEDS IS TO BECOME MAD

I'm usually either really happy and energetic or sad and lethargic. There's not much middle ground for me. I tend to look at the past too fondly, but don't we all do that? If you're not happy evaluate the things that make you feel like that and try to come to terms with it. Easier said than done though!

I am Libra that is my birth sign and I for the most part try to be happy or in good spirits most of the time. Its hard to be upset and always negative and i dont' like that. so i try to be happy and make others happy also and that is it. you can be what you want you just have ot make it happen and show it outwardly.
