Take a warm bubble bath, light up a candle and start meditating. Put on some relax music and have a glass of wine.
Now if you're under age, just get in the car of your parents and
blast the radio and start singing like one of those guys from American Idol...relax and breath it out. Take a walk down the block and don't let things get in the way.
Sometimes, when I have issues at work I always tell myself:
work related problems they stay at work and home related problems they stay at home. Trust me, it works. Now tell that to yourself, I know how you feel!.
will this video make you feel any better?

First, take a nice long, hot, bubble bath and place a hot washcloth over your eyes and forehead while you soak. Think of the loveliest place you've ever been and imagine you are there.
Second, take your time primping after your bath, look yourself square in the eye in the mirror and tell yourself (out loud of course) ten things you are thankful for and five things that you love about yourself.
Lastly, continue looking in the mirror and say "tee-hee-ha-ha-tee-hee-ha-ha as fast as you can, and I'll bet you get at least a real giggle going! I hope your evening goes much better than your day! Have the best one possible! Annie

I always take a relaxing bath with candles lit, read a few bible scriptures that help me relax and praise God that the day is coming to a close cause things can always be worse than you think they are. I may watch one of my favorite movies or call a good friend and tell them about the day I had to get feedback. I indulge in a chocolate bar or chocolate ice cream because that always makes me feel better!
Lastly, I prepare for bed by popping in a relaxation cd (ocean waves, or rainfall with piano playing), spraying my bed with lavendar mist because lavendar is a natural relaxant and then I drift to sleep...
This always helps me! Good luck!

Whenever I am having terribly awful day, I always watch a funny movie. It will always put a mile on your face. No matter what, by the end of the movie, your stress level has lowered. And you forgotten about your day!
I always watch Happy Gilmore, or Waterboy. Any Adam Sandler movies works for me though!
Good luck! Hope u feel better. Give it a try, it really does work.

It's really the perspective from which you view the situation; there are no bad days or bad situations. It's just your view on things and life!
Look at the situation as already being part of the past because if you think of it at the moment you are thinking about something (at this very second)...it has already past or is passing by.
The way I see it tomorrow is part of the past because it will come and it will go.
Mind over matter!

Just realize that the day is over and it can't be changed. Then eat something really delicious, have some good hot tea, do something that relaxes you, TV, movie etc. BUT do not dwell on and talk about today. You can tackle tommorow when it gets here.

There is only one way to deal with it. Go to bed.
Bad days happen and are a fact of life. I cut my losses ASAP and go to bed early. Tomorrow is another day is what I tell myself. I tell myself that better days are ahead. So I look to the future with a positive outlook. There is no use dragging it out or distracting yourself, because the misery of the day is still with you. Sleep and wake up refreshed for a better day.

Sucks to hear that. I had to watch 90 minutes of Al Gore's voice, but hey it's better than George Bush's. Sometimes you have to look at the positive stuff that happened today.

Stop thinking. Go to bed, wake up tomorrow and have a fresh start. Let bygones be bygones. You cannot change anything that has happened. Unless you have a time machine :)
