Change your thinking. Give yourself alternative ways of interpreting other's motives - or suspend judgment on other's motives until you have more evidence to support your conclusion. Start acting in a way that is consistent with someone who is not paranoid - like give others the benefit of the doubt and treat them as though they are not out to get you.
You could also pray for those you really think are against you. It's hard to be mad/suspicious at someone if you are praying for them and looking out for their best interests. Hope this helps.

The above answer are all good. If you read this one, it will be different. Bottom line... if a person is worried about them-self, (we all are) to stop it, you must take the focus off yourself. My suggestion, become a volunteer in a tough situation, like the burn ward of a child's hospital, or food kitchen server, or working with the homeless. Get your eyes off you, see the others in the world worse off, place life in perspective. You do this, and suddenly your life is not so bad and you think less about yourself; therefore less problems for you. This works. Hope this helps.

Read the Book the Four Agreements by Don Ruiz Miguel. IT is easy reading and tells to the point how to stop all this misery of caring what others think and say about us. and our judgments about our self. Also Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells the purpose of human life and how to end all misery. I love that book.

You need to concentrate on boosting your self respect. This is really a common situation that many many people find themselves involved in. I think, a lot of it has to do with the fact that we are always too busy and don't have time for the right things in Life.....
I would advise you to find a counseler that you are comfortable with and work with them.....And in the meantime, don't be so hard on yourself. Reward yourself once in awhile, as you deserve it!

Think on the bright side. When things go wrong, it is better because you can learn something from it. Who cares what the world thinks. Just sit back and relax.

It's rather implausible that the whole world would get off its butt just to give you a bad hair day. That should give you some encouragement -- then go for a run or something and get it out of your system.

We are against you, Freebird. Surrender to the dark side and join us. Seriously though, the first guy had the right answer.
