For sef respect u will do all things that makes u a better person, some one worth to follow, someone who everybody would respect, someone who is happy...
Ego, clashes with the sense of humanity, entails selfishness and turns u in a person who is not able to give nothing to the rest of people.
If are full of love u will irradiate light, peace and love...if u have ego problems any light might not come out from u at all...like a black hole.

Ego is something the Mental Doctors dreamed up to tell you something is wrong with you.
Self Respect is something you earn for yourself.

when youve got an ego its like youve got a chip on your shoulder and think your better than other ppl and when you have self respect, it means you respect yourself (you take care of your body, mind, spirit,etc etc.)

self-respect - it's all about you. you know what you want and you wouldn't do anything to make you feel or think badly of yourself.
ego - it's all about others. it's when you think what other people will say and think about you. you want others to see you as the best in all you do. but in the end you're not even sure if you think you're the best.
