I felt this prob since i started working. I'm not really sure if i had this when i was in school. Anyway, i'm enjoying now an above average income. It would be a good thing, cos i would be able to pay all my expenses and buy the things i need but unfortunately everytime i received my salary, I would feel guilty if i start to buy something. Even after buying just my personal stuff, I'd feel guilty. Instead of being happy everytime i get my salary, I would feel depressed and pressured that i have to pay on something. I get depressed each time i withdraw from my account. What should i do?
Is this normal or do i need the help of a doctor?

There are some very extraordinary personal/physical facts
that were bound to coin my (everyone´s )behaviour and
personality but then you realize at a very late age (42) that you
took the facts as excuses a lot of times and did not try hard
enough, which is why you think you don´t have really succeded
(in becoming yourself) , It hurts , hurts , hurts,
What do you do ?
Your surrounding probably did want to help at times but
was at a loss what to do .and ended up
hurting you and could not provide the help which one
would have needed to help yourself.
I need some ideas and serious answers how to find one´s
balance. I am on the brink of a nervous breakdwon.

Professionally and financilly - I need to start at zero.
Sorry for this outbreak of feelings , I just need some honest
ideas since I have been leading a most secluded life, which
I want to change in the new year.

I lost my son 2 days before christmas 2004. By now I should be like most people say 'get of it'. How can I stop being so angry and get to the next stage of grieving?

All of us deal with and face fear. Most of us try to avoid it, or run away from it, but sometimes we confront it and do something about it. What does it take or what could one do to become more courageous or brave in the face of fear? Specific answers would be good. We already know the obvious stuff like "Be tough." I'm asking how? What, specifically, can one do?

I would like to become a person who can accept others as they are, rather than try and fight and get all upset about how they "should" be. How can I learn to become more accepting and open-minded? Not just about other people, but about myself as well?

I was made fun of in middle school...and now I sometimes worry about it in college. I'm kind of insecure.

Any suggestions on how to get over it?

I don't mean sixth sense or psychic powers or anything like that, but Jung talks about the four personality archetypes (Sensing, Feeling, Thinking and Intuiting) and I've recently learned that I am an intuitive type. I often get a "sense" or "feeling" about something or someone. It's a very irrational perspective on how to look at things so I'm not sure how to build and develop it. Any suggestions?

When I dream at night, within a few months later sometimes sooner, what I dream comes true.Im very serious about this, far from a joke. Its like I see the future.NO I cannot not see "Lotto numbers" etc,I cannot control what I see,I cannot pick or choose what I dream.I dream it and it happens.Though when it happens its not exactly to the "T" of what I dreamed, but it does happen.I need thought on this.

I am having trouble with the concept of taking offense. I certainly understand being offended by the horrors of war, of violence, murder, rape, torture, etc. The physical aspects of these can be, and should be sickening. I can also understand taking offense at personal insults and an attack on one's character or integrity. What I have trouble with is how people can be offended by words or ideas, concepts, artistic representations, alternate lifestyles or sexual desires. We are certainly not born with the concept of being offended. What offends us is most often the result of conditioning. We are conditioned by our times, the social mores of our generation, the ideas of those who are closest to us, religion. But I cannot understand how one can feel so strongly about something that has been conditioned. It isn't a feeling at all, is it... at least, not a natural one. As someone who has never been offended by a person's sexuality or a work of art, I am asking for your input.

How did it happen? I dreamed that I died in a hospital. I knew it was happening and no one would help me. My vision started fading and my body was all tingly. I wasn't scared at all... I was curious to see what happened. Then I woke up. What about you?

No one had lived there for many years before my dad sold it about 2 yrs ago. Everytime I dream about it, the weather in my dream is always overcast-that seems to stick out the most to me. I miss the farm, even though I hadn't been there for quite some time before it was sold (no one had). We had lots of good and bad times there. What could this overcast weather mean?

I'm pretty sure I have social anxiety disorder. For some reason lately in the morning during first class I'm especially shy, to the point where it is pathetic, everybody thinks I'm so pathetic because of it, even the teahcer, but by second class I'm at least able to function, not great, but I'm able to associate with people without it being completely awkward, but first class early in the morning I'm just pathetic, just terrified of it. It's only recently too. I've had SAD for quite a while but it really started affecting me at this time of day,

why do so many people assume they are the one doing wrong? Your advice isn't helping if you assume the person asking is in the wrong. More often than not they're asking because they're the victim.
