No one had lived there for many years before my dad sold it about 2 yrs ago. Everytime I dream about it, the weather in my dream is always overcast-that seems to stick out the most to me. I miss the farm, even though I hadn't been there for quite some time before it was sold (no one had). We had lots of good and bad times there. What could this overcast weather mean?

It's from a moment back then when the world separated itself around you and left you dangling in thought so pure and meaningful that it stays with you like a seam in time. When the world separates itself from around us like that, our "minds" fall into a perfect nothingness that has no memory, so, no point in trying to remember what that day was all about. It's not the particular memory that is important as much as having been in a moment so balanced that you could slip into that perfect lucidity. It's good, those seams in time.

Maybe your dreams are memories you have of the farm, and perhaps it was overcast a lot there.

I also heard that we dream in black and white, so maybe it's not overcast, but you can't tell that it is sunny because of dreaming in black and white.

I think the reason that you are dreaming about the farm is that you were sad when it was sold, and it may be just know coming to the surface.
