You will develop your own methods with time if it's a reoccuring problem. In my case, I learned to talk myself out of going into panic episodes.. you can get used to ANYTHING if your around 'it' long enough.(I had panic disorder) Also check your diet. Study nutrition. The effects of certain foods you tend to eat.

If you are scared to sleep alone in the night leave a dim light on and the TV on throughout the night. When disturbing thoughts come to your mind chant Jesus Jesus Jesus until you fall asleep. You will not need any body's help. You will grow in to a strong person.

Keeping your mind occupied with other things works well. Get out and do things. Jog, ride a bike, go to the gym, play some video games with a friend, cook, anything to get your mind off what's bothering you. Seek help if it begins to affect your daily routines to the point you can't function properly. Be strong.

Whenever that happens to me I usually freak out for about 10 seconds grabbing the walls and stuff then I think about other things, distract myself. It's the only thing that works. Music is great too. Good luck.

Ya, either pray or see a dr. You can try writing them in a journal or expressing it through art or music. Not much on the idea side right now.

the first answer from bebobz6 is the best one: one word, straight and to the point: pray.
(try the Lord's prayer, it's very soothing).
Just try to find your "happy place" at those times.
