It's a supplement to face-to-face interaction. A lot of the anxieties of socializing are removed and you can either "be yourself" or have fun being someone you're not without fear of repercussions.
If it's you're only form of real socialization --- it's a bit sad but better than nothing.

Online interaction will always lack the emotional and physical aspect of actually interacting with someone in person. With online interaction you can never be sure of anything except what shows up on the computer monitor. However, with face-to-face interaction there tends to be more of an ensurity of what you are being told, witnessing, etc.. Some are able to find the no big difference between the two however.

Anonimity of the internet is great, especially for talking about universal, intimate subjects.
As uncomforable as it can be for some shy people, face-to-face interation can be a little bit more shallow, but likely far more healthy, and natural in the long term.

yes i feel u can be a fake as possible with ppl online you never have to be really honest . Unlike in person you are in there face and they have the moment to either get to know you mentally or judge you physically. But on the internet you can just do like you did as kid makeup a imaginary life and etc. Believe ppl on her do it all day long. You have married ppl or committed ppl on here lying daily in hopes of either meeting anew mate or hope s of not having a physical affair but and emotional cheating affair. Then there are those individuals whom do better at being hidden than at being face to face. But you never know what you're getting online : a psycho, person with sexually transmitted diseases, a child molester or a serial rapist that hasn't been caught , or murdered. That's why u have to play the online game at your own risk. Just like answering your phone as a kid remeber those rules your parents or your mom said " Don't ever give out your information and etc.

On-line interaction lacks a lot of the elements of face to face. No bad breath. No eye contact. No inflection in voice.
The Internet is great for connecting people from diverse areas. But we still need human positive contact on a regular basis.

I think online and face-to-face both have good and bad aspects. Face to face we have to use body language and social cues, online you are able to see more of the real personality and bolder moves. Face-to-face is more personal but time consuming, online you can walk away at any moment and not have anyone give it a second thought. Either way you have some form of attachment, whether mental stimulation or to spend time doing interests together.

Online interaction has its limitations.People can lie to each other without the other knowing. But it has its advantages too specially if the persons are overseas this is a great way to communicate.
Its fast cheap and can be used to send stuff like music photographs videos and such like with minimum cost

Hmm, depends. There are real people who don't perpetrate online. Anonymity is nice, allowing privacy and interaction at the same time.

I don't hide my identity from others, I am real, if others hide, they are just a shame of who they really are, like people who wear a mask to show an ulterior personality.

Look at it this way.. face to face its harder to lie. For example i am the king of spain, but i could tell you i was just an everyday guy!
