I know there are a lot of studies that claim average intelligence is higher in men, but what about creativity. If you look at the past, nearly in all artistic fields they have been mostly made up of men. One could argue this was because of more opportunities, but many famous artists did not have opportunities at all, they made their own with their art. In art, film, music, almost all of the major faces in the field are men. Has anyone ever studied the physiological side of this?

I, sometimes, wonder when I thikn about the people who are so alone and search of right one. Why do we feel that some thing is missing? Why do we feel defeciency in ourselves regardless of age, race, sex and education? Why this era is known as modern disturbed era? .................:)

No Matter What I Do...Events That Lead To My Death Are Coming To Pass.

Years ago I had a series of dreams every night that lasted for almost six months, as time went on they all started to fit together but not perfectly....they ended when I saw my own death. Some 6-7 years later I started to see events of those dreams come to pass one by one....

What would you do if this were you????

Is it relatively normal to feel severe anxiety and loss of coping skills? I still cover all of my duties (going to work, paying bills, etc) but for the past year, I've had a crazy feeling of anxiousness in my stomach and a loss of the ability to cope with the way my life is. Granted, I've had the WORST year of my life but I don't feel like I'm ever gonna get rid of this feeling or ever be able to fully cope.

Do you think that Yahoo! Answers might be better therapy (in general...of course...disclaiming psychosis and other very nasty psychological disorders) than a psychologist, psychiatrist, or "paid" group therapy (of course not for the psychotherapist getting paid for the group therapy)? Just a "fun" question...not to be taken too seriously by the professionals of the psycho-disciplines. :)

I am 26, m, London, When i was in India, my ex gf played with me and my feelings in a very worst way, she is a worst mexican, it was a worst breakup and, i was broken fully so, i decided to leave country and relocate to UK. Her friends also played with my matter too. I am very sensitive person that they know so, they always teased me, make me jealous all the time. I was all the time feeling short and, now i want to prove myself. I am a very streight forward person but now, its like a pain forever for a lifetime. I just want to do progress a lot and, i am trying to work as much hard as i can. Now i have just an aim that, i want them to feel shy and, feel very short and dirty. I know i will not achieve anything by this but, I hate them this much that i just want all of them to slap them in a way, Pls advice me for this. Thanks :

Money is a very important thing in this world mothers, fathers send there children as sacrifices everyday for there governments and for individuals who seem to think money gives the ultimate power. 10% of the population owns the money the rest of us just keep struggling hoping we can become that 10% I prefer peace of mind, respect from my peers, and a clear conscience when I lay down at night. For so very few a concept hard to understand, for the masses you keep on struggling maybe one day you will get to know your children, your spouse the ones of greater importance.

why do some people feel better about themselves by making others feel inferior or hurt? I am personally a sensative girl who reacts very strongly to insults and critism. i want people to like me ect. If i am put in a place of power or controll I feel scared and doubt myself. I cant imagine why on earth making people feel bad could make others feel better??

I work with a person who will frequently give me instruction or tell me a story about an event and then a week or even a month later proceed to tell me the exact same story or give me the exact same instruction for the very same task that I've been performing for months as if I had never heard it before. I used to pass this off as him being absent minded, but could it be that this guy just likes to hear himself talk? What is the meaning of this?

I heard that if we can figure out how to use more than just 10% of our brain, something like this may be possible. I also read an article once that it is possible that you can use brainwaves to almost control small movement, almost like "the force' was the way they put it. Maybe if we were able to use a larger percentage of our brain we can accomplish something like this? What are your views? Please no stupid answers,

As the saying goes, Ignorance is Bliss....I must say being oblivious does have its advantages, I see and know people who are totally ignorant of many facts and are seemingly blissful in their ignorance....while others KNOW...about politics, finance, spirituallity etc. and always seem to be at odds of how to make themselves fit in comfort within the scheme of things....

There have been many occasions i have had a dream and it has come true, these are not big deals just stupid little things involving the people I love and the dreams I have are exactly like the events that happen. I do not change events so that they turn out like my dreams and I can predict things which I have no involvement in whatsoever, I have been doing this since I was a child.
how is this possible?

A hypothetical, but not impossible situation: you climbed up a tall tree in time to escape a viscious pit bull. An equally violent lightening storm is now bearing down on you. The dog is still circling the tree, jumping up and down. You're out in the country and the dog's owner is already in custody for other reasons. What would you do?
