Well i have add and I have the worst memory you could imgaine. So whatI do is just block out other thought and focus on what important at that moment and after you hear it give it a second thought and it will be stuck in your head. Just like when you have a song stuck in your head its in there because you have repated it a certain amount of times and it gets stuck with u.

To remember things from the past remember somones name lay back turn off anything noisy in your house and just let little things pop in ur head on there own and it will come to u

When I was growing up, my dad taught me how to meet someone and be introduced. Lots of rules for a little kid. Look them in the eye, say "nice to meet you," shake hands, not too tight, not too loose. Stuff like that.

I find that I have trouble remembering names because I am in the habit of making sure all those things are right. Then as soon as I hear the name I lose it because that's not what I was paying attention to.

Now if I do something to draw attention to the name part, like, "I'm sorry, what did you say your name was?", I can remember much more often.
