As the saying goes, Ignorance is Bliss....I must say being oblivious does have its advantages, I see and know people who are totally ignorant of many facts and are seemingly blissful in their ignorance....while others KNOW...about politics, finance, spirituallity etc. and always seem to be at odds of how to make themselves fit in comfort within the scheme of things....

The more you see, the more you have to process and incorporate into your life. That can feel like a curse, but what it really is is a challenge that can be uncomfortable for a while.

Just remember, intelligence isn't the most imortant thing. It's a tool, but it has to work in a holistic way. You're a lot more than the sum of your intellect.

chum, what's a blessing and what's a Curse? That makes you satisfied and smooth , we assume of usually as a Blessing. And that promises us discomfort and displeasure or melancholy , disease etc we evaluate it as a curse. chum the way we glance and the failings and our theory and understanding makes this i do no longer say that there are persons who're suffering and persons who're very very pleased. we are , say, operating with a 4 figure income, and it really is puzzling to run the relations devoid of going for some loans or be prepared for some starving days purely go searching us.there are 1000's of human beings that do no longer even get 0.5 of what we get..You note no matter if ( a minimum of majority) are satisfied and most advantageous existence pleasantly. Then at the same time as at the same time as double that income we are getting and feeling unhappy. Why? it really is our needs that make this stuff to ensue.Contentment is one ingredient that is a might want to. in the present inflation stages, prices of each and every of the provisions, abode rents sky rocketing , really ALL have issues. There are utter Destitute s, there are human beings suffering devoid of money and no drugs for , No foodstuff to eat , no preserve to sleep less than, some with amputated limbs, some mentally impaired , some bodily impaired .....The record is infinite.they're most advantageous the existence .no longer all FEELING they're CURSED. So God has Given us this kind of large style of issues FREELY , and we take it devoid of any interest and take it casually. purely record out what God gave you.He gave us sturdy eyes, ears, different organs , a wholesome body, some employment to live on and oldsters and acquaintances etc.until eventually we get a disease There are wealthy human beings.we do not recognize no matter if or not they're truly satisfied. funds or riches not in any respect supplies THE HAPPINESS,it would want to supply PLEASURES. So imagine what has god has given you (sturdy issues) , also imagine what has no longer GIVEN YOU THE undesirable OR detrimental issues.. Now imagine you're blessed or Cursed. god is a Compassionate father to all.

"He who knows not..

But knows NOT he knows not....

It foolish.

He who knows not,

And knows THAT he knows not,

Is wise."

When you get older and wiser, you will realize how little you know. When you are younger, you think you're smarter than you are. Didn't we all know EVERYTHING when we were 19? As the years pass by, and the older we get, the more we realize, that the less we know. This is because we are gaining wisdom and experience. We are humbled when we become more aware.

Not everyone thinks just like we do. We may know more about OUR politics, OUR idea of finance, OUR idea of spirituality, etc. Others may know MORE about cooking, raising farm animals or vetrenary health, underwater basket weaving, military life, martial arts, a sport, popular authors, actors, motors, and all sorts of stuff.

WE would be the ignorant ones to assume that we know so much more than other people. Funny, didn't you already KNOW that?

Try talking to others about what THEY are interested in. You might learn something about something you didn't know much or anything about.

It is a curse. Many historical figures with very high IQs suffered depression. Even precocious children show signs of depression because they "know" things. Case in point, when I was told the scientific explanation of a rainbow I became very sad because to me a rainbow was a magical occurrence after a storm. Now for the rest of my life I do not see a rainbow so innocently, I see it as a natural phenomena of sunlight refraction on rain droplets. Intelligence is a loss of innocence.

I agree that there are some whom seem to float through life without regard of such issues. At times, I wish I did not grapple with spiritual issues as well as other moral issues. If one has a firm belief system many decisions are made for you. In my case such choices are not so well defined. I do at least know that I do not know very much.

Speaking only for myself, I can say that knowing and being rational and negative are a curse because I've never been in a relationship. I'm too smart and discouraged.

It's how you use it that makes it a curse of a blessing.

I can answer that quickly: it's both. Like most "gifts" bestowed on us, it's both a curse and a blessing.
