This isn't some sadistic question, it's for a research cause...

It is ok to laugh at people, just don't forget to laugh at yourself too.

This happens at least once a year. The basic principle is that after/during the dream I enter a lucid state where I'm a very aware of being in the dream and/or that I am lying a dark bedroom - that I am in fact awake. However, trying to wake up is impossible! I can't lift my fingers or speak and it takes the hardest effort ending up with a slight tremble of my legs or hands.

On most nights I have some control over my dreams, with colourful abilities to match – yet in these states I can never do a thing – I not only forget how to jump real high, but to walk or ran or talk.

Does anyone have this? Not just a keen self awareness, but the whole “I can’t wake up thing”?

i have been told that i have a strong identity by a friend of mine, i told him..i guess so,but i just know what i want in my life and who i am- it's no big deal!!
(:
just curious of why some people have a stronger self-identity then others? it's not like i am superconfident about everything all the time,it's just that i have strong preferences and i know my pecking order in the big sceme of things,in other words- i know who i am and i am perfectly fine with myself, imperfections, flaw s and all- the good just ain't as good without the ugly i always say.

I’m so happy, lively and jolly at home, but at work, I clam up and become a mouse. It’s like I have 2 personalities (which I don’t by the way – this is just a saying!).

Im looking for an understanding for the psychological, psychomotor, psychosocial and physiological factors that effect a childs participation in sport and PE. This will intergrate multidisciplinary approaches to the study of children in physical activity.

Seriously, every other person that I know hates the little things and really there is no rational reason why we should fear them. What is the psychological reason for this? Do we inherit the fear because we see people being afraid of them when we are younger?

I can usually give or take them and am often made to dispose of them on behalf of my wife. But occasionally when I see a large one near to something that is personal to me (eg bed), it can freak me out for days.

The reason why I have made this question UK specific is because a) the majority of my foreign friends have no problems with them and b) spiders in the UK cannot harm you.

Think about what is the man telling when he says that statement. Is he telling the truth? Or does he lie?
