Think about what is the man telling when he says that statement. Is he telling the truth? Or does he lie?

In this instance he is doing both, he is telling us that he always lies, but by telling us that, he is actually telling the truth, so no, he doesn't always lie does he.

For once, I think he is telling the truth.
Or maybe what he really means is he lies a lot, but not always!

He is a liar. If he is telling the truth then he is a liar as his statement says, and if he is lying, he is a liar!
