I dreamed this on May 13, 2005:

I am riding in a pickup truck with some other people. Last I heard, we were going to _______ Lake (don't remember the name) to go swimming, but the driver turns down a different road, towards _______ Pond (ditto). At this point, believing the driver not to know, I offer my expertise, saying that I know how to get to the lake. However, the driver declines my offer; we're going to the pond instead.

As the truck rounds a curve, the pond comes into view. It is small with muddy, slimy water. "I'm not going to swim in that!" I say. Others agree, which I take to mean that we should go on to the lake, but we do not.

Instead, we exit the truck and walk up a grassy hillside into a house. Once inside, I shortly realize that this house is an exact duplicate of the one we left earlier, including several items we left there. It strikes me that this is impossible, causing me to get a panicky feeling that something hugely momentous is going on. It is the end of the world, I conclude, the Rapture and God is going to destroy the Earth.

Immediately, I grab a child (I guess it was a dream offspring of mine; the kid seemed to be pre-pubescent in age) and begin to pray for forgiveness for my sins. Around this time there is a single, extremely loud, cracking boom noise, quite different in quality from thunder. It is almost unbearably loud. Meanwhile, in my mind, I think how fortunate this situation is for me; most people do not know the time when their deaths are imminent and so cannot ask for forgiveness.

Hi sweet Tea, usually a dream like that comes after u have watched a movie
with similar fate, my dream was about a meteroite hitting the Earth.
people were running everwhere, screaming and crying. I was still alive
and the town was devoid of people, I had no water or anything to eat,
nothing was left but me, I kept going in and out of buildings trying to find
someone alive, the dream would't end, I finally woke up, and glad I
was in reality, can u imagine the only person left in the world.

I had a dream about the rapture. An important man (Jesus) was coming and I felt the need to get ready to see him. I stood around waiting for my sister to get ready and when I looked at the time it was getting late and I felt like I was running out of time. I tried to change my clothes so that I would be dressed properly to see him but I couldn't change fast enough and I had a huge hole in my stockings. I knew I was running out of time so I went to the door where he was standing, apologized for the way I was dressed and he told me that I could come in just how I was. When I passed through the door the clothes that I was wearing were instantly changed to a beautiful white garment that was more beautiful than anything I had ever seen before.

Once I stepped through the door there were others standing around waiting for their loved ones and when everyone was accounted for we walked side by side like soldiers through the halls of the building and asked others to follow us, some fell in line and followed, some refused. When we had passed through all of the halls we were loaded onto a train. The people that refused to follow us were all crammed into one car, where they were all very hot, miserable and groaning. I could see in, but they could not see out. Those that fell in line boarded a car that was adorned in gold and red velvet. After we were all seated, others passed through our car. When I asked one where he was going (he was a minister) he said he was not taking the train that I was on, he was on the express train.

The ride started off very nice and smooth, but at one point it looked like we were going to crash. Some people on the train started to get nervous and became afraid, we told them to not to be scared but to just have faith. Some were so afraid they wanted to get off of the train. After the twists and turns we arrived at a station house. The people that were afraid and wanted to get off ended up in the car where everyone was crammed and groaning. Those of us that remained calm were received in different rooms in the station house, each room was more beautiful than the room before it and each room had family members of those that had gone on before us. It was there we met up with all of our departed loved ones that were saved.

After seeing all of our loved ones we were then led to our respective mansions. My mansion was beautiful, but there were others that were more beautiful, and more extravagant such as the one the minister was given.

When I woke up from that dream everything was so vivid and so clear and I felt such a peace within that I felt the need to write the dream down. I had six pages (I've left out many details here) of notes which I shared with my family, friends and loved ones. The dream/vision is still just as clear today as it was the night I dreamt it.

The Word of God says in Joel 2:28-29 that:

"And it shall come to past afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, (mankind), and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions: (29) And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

There is NO GENDER intended as MANKIND includes men and women.
