Psychology - October 2006

I have a very serious problem. When i get nervous, i pull my hair out. I have been doing this for a long time now, and i really want to stop. i dont wanna see a shrink, so please give me some other suggestions!
one of my problems is i am to ashamed to tell someone about this

I've watched the movie in my psychology class and I can pinpoint a few hallucinations (his 'roommate', a student's tie, numbers & letter jumping off the page, etc). What others were there, and what were some of his delusions?

How far would you go doing something immoral if it were for a just cause? ie. Would yu steal if your child was starving and you had no money. The only way to rid your daughter of a wicked man is to get him to fancy/proposition you. You get the idea. If you have any true life story, please tell.

i don't know what is wrong with me! lately, i just haven't been caring about whether or not i do good in my classes at school. the really sad part is that i'm starting to fail in my favorite class, and i don't even really care :(

i am a junior and i know that in order to have a very good job that pays well, you need to do good in school, but for some reason i just don't care.

please motivate me to do better because i don't know what to do.

My ex friend, and brother's ex girlfriend won't leave my family or myself alone. I've tried the conventional ways (cops, flat out telling her etc) and nothing so far has been successful. So i appeal to you, psychology fans for hopefully some intellegent advise. thanks.

My mom is one of the most beautiful women in the world.Everyone i know, my grandmom(dads mom), my aunts and all our neighbours are jealous of her.And im not half as beautiful as my mom, so they get some kinda vicious pleasure out of pointing out to me that im not as beautiful as her.Im fine with it, infact im proud to have such a beautiful mother.But, why do ppl have to take out their jealousies on me ?I never did anything to them, neither did my mom.

I recently left my last job which involved working with my father in law for over 12 months.My cv had been sent out with him as a referee prior to me leaving.Now he is saying that he will give me a bad reference,which the company has asked for,over a personal despute with his daughter.My wife and I have recieved abbusive and blackmailing voicemails.Any idea on what I can do?Should I contact the company or and explain or wait and see?
