This Poem by the late 20th century English intellectual Philip Larkin sums it up quite well.
They f**k you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.
But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.
Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don't have any kids yourself.

Loving, wonderful, lucky to have them for my parents..I wouldn't trade them for silver or gold or any other parents in this world!! They mean the world to me!!! They are always there for me, and I know that I can always turn to them because they listen and gives the greatest advice ever...I could go on and on about them b/c no words or phrases could describe my love for them!!! God Blessed me with the most wonderful mother and dad!!!

Although I love my parents very much, and appreciate them bringing me into this world, I'll "never" understand "why" they chose to have fifteen children!
By the way? This is the honest to God "truth!" I am number 9. There are 9 girls, and 6 boys. Whew! Must be the subconscious
reason "I" chose to have only "one."
