BF Skinner and Freud. Skinner said that we're just acting on reward and punishment, Freud said that we're motivated by deep, hidden impulses. Both are true to some extent, don't you think?

Any psychoanalytic thinker (like Freud), and any contemporary Cognitive Behaviorist (like Albert Ellis). You get to compare the historical context in which they came up with their ideas, what each thought the mind was (Freud thought mind=steam engine, Ellis thought mind=computer). Plus, they used vastly different methods. Fun comparison since both were a bit extreme.
