I had to file for bankruptcy because I got behind on my house payments. My boyfriend is paying all the other bills. My ex roommate didn't pay me for 4 months leaving me to pick up all the bills alone. Her part of the bills added up to $2460.00. I am depressed over loosing my job and I hate looking for one. I'm sleeping too late in the day and everything is just falling apart right before my eyes. What is wrong with me? I need to go get a job but I don't.

I use chopsticks and write with my left hand, and I usually use forks, spoons, etc with my left hand by instinct, but I play all sports with my right side. I kick with my right foot, I dribble with my right hand, I play tennis with my right hand. I also use the scissors with my right hand. Would I be considered left or right handed? I'm so confused. Also, I asked another question on Answers, "Are language learning skills genetic or innate?", because I love to learn languages and I seem to learn them really well really easily, especially with grammar, which seems more logic and left-brained. I'm taking a psych course, and I know that main language learning centers are on the left side of the brain, such as Broca's area, and not in the right brain. If I'm left-handed, shouldn't my right brain be more developed rather than my left brain? So would I really be considered left or right-handed?

It is in my nature to destroy myself yet the process by which I do this is the only way I feel comfortable in life. It goes like this: I work very, very hard for what I want and then when I get it I don't want it. So why do I strive for everything that I want so dearly in life but then deny it when it's offered? It's like, all I want is the offer not the prize. It's like if I get the prize then the game is over with. I then have no fight anymore and will destroy the prize, set myself up for distruction, or just run away from it, I suppose so I can look for another fight. I guess to sum it up: I love to strive my hardest for success but I absolutely must not like success or i'd accept it when it presents itself. Why do I do this?

most of the human beings we meet are always trying to prove their point of view without bothering to listen to the opposite person. They also start giving you advise without indepth knowledge of the subject or problem you are facing. At times they say, I told you so, and at times they say, you should have done this instead of that. I am sure you all must have met such persons or meeting today. how to tackle this syndrome?

I hate to say it,but my friend (female) who is 30ish has always has been oneof the most self-centered people I know. Now suddenly that's changing, and I have not a clue why It's great but I'm curious--aren't peoples' personalities pretty well set by the time they graduate from high school.? What could be happening to my friend?

An adult male friend of mine acts out in ways that can resemble the behavior of a sociopath. He says that at age 14 he fell off his bike and hit his head hard. Can trauma to the head cause his ironic behavior? Can an MRI interpret brain activity to prove that something is actually wrong? What professional help should he first seek?
