I hate to say it,but my friend (female) who is 30ish has always has been oneof the most self-centered people I know. Now suddenly that's changing, and I have not a clue why It's great but I'm curious--aren't peoples' personalities pretty well set by the time they graduate from high school.? What could be happening to my friend?

I think they can change. I am just hitting highschool drama, and already I can see people changing by what they are doing, things they say, and the way they dress. I think your friend is maybe even growing out of the self centerness. I think she is maturing and realizing that she is not the "****" and is more kind to others now.

Anybody can change. Maybe your friend is just growing up and wants to be a better person.

Could be she has accepted Jesus into her heart.

It happens all the time.

I have seen hard edged biker types invite the Spirit of Jesus into their heart and the change that God does for good is remarkable!
