Psychology - August 2006

for 20 years my uncle (who is in his mid 40s) has lived with his mum (who is now 70), basically using her as his slave. They are both clean freaks, and i guess they made each of them worse. My uncle doesn' work, or do anthing except watch TV, and when he goes out "cycling" (to improve his health, as the doctor suggested), he is one for like 10 hours. He pees in bottles which my grandma has to empty out few times a day. He goes to the bathroom once a day, and it takes him 20 mins to get there, as he studies each floor space before stepping on it. once in the bathroom, he showers for (NO JOKE) 7-10 hours. They pay a ridiculous water bill. Since my family lives in a different country, we only see them every 3 years. The first thing we do when we get to their house is to take off our "dirty" clothes at the door, and run to the bathroom. Anyways, my grandma is staying with us for the time being. We have made her miss her flight, to buy some time, as something needs to be done. what to do?

I am talking about the kind of dream where you REALLY have to go, but every toilet you find is either broken, or filthy, or surrounded by glass walls, or at the top of an escalator, and if you do actually find one you think about using, you cannot relieve yourself so you go searching for another? Have you ever realized what was happening and awakened yourself?

When i was little i drew a triangle on the bathroom wall at my school, I was arrested for this and was chraged with graffity(a felony since it was a public school) I spent 2 weeks in juvinall hall and then my perants took a plead deal and I spent 1 year on probatiom, ever since then i have been deathly afraid of the police, evertime I'm near one i panic and think they are going to arrest me and send me to jail(even though i didn't do anything illegal) its gone to the point to were i have panic attacks and i have a sudden fear that police are going to bust through my door and arrest me.
Im too scare to download music , I'm too scared to even buy an ipod, everywhre i go i feel like i'm being watched. This problem is starting to affect my personal and proffesional life greatly and im wondering if this is some sort of phobia?

I have full custody of my 3 year old daughter. My ex GAVE me custody, I did not ask for it, but I have stood by my child and been a great dad. I have recently remarried and am expected a child with my new wife. All the sudden my ex wants full custody, she said its because we are having a baby. I allow her to see her pretty much whenever she wants, which has not been much. Now my daughter is coming home telling me that mommy says she cries when she is not with her, which I feel is psychologically inappropriate. It really makes my little girl sad, and I think its placing too much guilt on her when my ex made the choices to get her where she is. She also comes homes saying bad things about me....such as...daddy is nasty....daddy drinks beer in front of me....daddy wont let me see my mommy...which are all totally untrue...Do you agree that she should not do this to her child?

Dream:
I was running down the highway, away from somthing. I remember being slashed across the back. Waking up feeling the slashes as if they were real, no marks though.

And before anybody says anything, this was long before the Freddy movies came out.

So I dreamt that I was in this cute part of town with a really cute guy, who was a little bit stupid, who I guess was my boyfriend. We walked up this large hill that was paved with tar, it seemed like some kind of tourist attraction. When we got to the top of the hill, I saw my old middle school crush. I walked passed him, hoping he'd notice me and say hi, and then he started to walk down the hill, but started to fall down it. I started running after him, I guess to help him, and then when I got to the bottom of the hill, it was night time, and I was in this gross part of downtown. I was near these crappy apartments, looking for this building, hoping to find this rock show, because that's supposedly where my cute but kind of dumb boyfriend was supposed to be, and I was looking for him I guess. I got to the building of the show, except I was on the side of the building that was a Chinese restaurant, and I had to search for the stairs to get to the concert.....
