Regarding dream I had many years ago. Any explanations?

I would have been around 9 or 10yrs old.
Dream:
I was running down the highway, away from somthing. I remember being slashed across the back. Waking up feeling the slashes as if they were real, no marks though.

And before anybody says anything, this was long before the Freddy movies came out.

As many dreams as I have interpreted on this site, yours is the first one that sounds like legitimate demonic activity. At that time, there was probably someone in the family circle that was involved in occult practices (knowingly or unknowingly) to some degree, and therefore gave this creature the authority to take a whack at you.

Dreams are most often problem-solving mechanisms by the unconscious mind. This episode creates more problems than it solves, and doesn't seem to be a product of your psyche.

I sincerely hope I am mistaken. Think back to that time in your life and see if the scenario that I described rings true. If so, you might want to seek counseling with a priest, preacher, or Rabbi, depending on your faith. If not; well, then, I am just a nut-bag on a forum that is easily ignored. God bless you!

Ed Witten ( do a dogpile.com search ) is proving at CERN's
Large Hadride Collider ( LHC) that we are like a tiny child, learning
how to crawl in a baby's room. We are on all four, zipping accross the room, until we have " discovered" all four walls bounding our
tiny Universe, unaware, that if we looded up, out the window, we
would see a whole planet, the moon, the sun, the stars, the galaxies,
and an endless universe. The " Hard, cold Scientific" approach of
the scientists of " our day " have us in a 4 dimensional Universe,
X,Y, Z co-ordinates, and Time. However, we live in 11 Dimenstions, and are, like tiny babies, stuck in only 4, so that
things happening in the other 7, missing dimensions is beyond
our tiny brains' ability to understand.
Our entire, limitless Universe is on a slice called a BRANE, ( from the word membrane) much like a slice of bread. If we could stand back and look at the REAL Universe, in 11 dimensions,
we would see limiless other slices on both sides. So far, the only way we have here on EARTH, to communicate with the other dimensions, is with huge GRAVITON pulses, like from a nuclear bomb, which we have been doing since the 1940's ( and attracting the attention of beings on other BRANES, since that time ). Other parts of the real Universe, like ours, are Billions of eons older, and wiser than us. We are like babies...
What happened to you would, if judged by other tiny babies here on Earth, who don't know any better, make you psychotic, or a nut case, or tramatized, or whatever. But judged by someone who saw the other 7 Dimensions, well.... then what happened is perfectly normal, and really happened --- in a universe that we
primitive humans don't understand yet. Dreams, ghosts, para-psychology, the "unknown" etc. are all real. We pathtic humans are blind to the 11 dimensions, and are too arrogant to
admit that we don't know everything, so anything we can't control,
does not exist... If you follow the "M" theory of Ed Witten, and
watch Super Collider experiments, over the next decade, the
primitive " 4 Dimensional" babies' room we live in is about to
explode. I don't " KNOW " what happened to you, but trust your senses. Sometimes what you experience " IS " real, and the
high and mighty " EXPERTS " who know everything, are wrong.
The basis of Science as we know it is about to change. It is exciting, and may lead to the answer to what happened to you, and what it means. Who knows, it could be aliens on another
dimension trying to communicate with you...
