I seem to have a problem with anthropomorphics..I often see objects that make me feel "sad"..such as a lunchbox left on a park bench or and partially eaten cookie that gets left behind..
Also, people make me feel sad, like when I see a guy sitting with his toes pointing at each other, or when you see someone's throat swallow when they are upset. Ahhhh! It makes me feel so sad! Anyone else weird like me?

As one of the users suggested, I think the best way to handle this would be to turn it into a joke, and pretend I don't care. I would love suggestions that do NOT involve the reason that I gained the weight. Something in good taste, but funny, please. What can I say that will give them a good response but keep me sane?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I started counseling 4 months ago. The past 2 months have been hell for me. I feel worse than I did before. Part of it is I have only been able to see the therapist about once a month and it caused me so much frustration to wait til the next vistit. I asked him for more visits, but he said his schedule was full. I finally asked to plan a month in advance and he then gave me 2 visits per month. The problem is that I cannot stop obsessing about counseling and reading and thinking. I was very numb before and counseling seems to have opened up a flood of anxiety that I cannot seem to stop obsessing about. Is this normal to have such anxiety after starting therapy? Thanks!

last night I dreamed that a group of young men were rowdy outside of of my house window, I assumed it was a fight outside, so I went to the window and one of the men was asking to see my husband. So I told him to hold on while I attemted to call him on my cell phone. Before I had a chance to call, I heard my husbands voice approaching the man asking to see him. My husband punched him in the face and a fight broke out. Then like a few minutes later my husband said that he had whipped the mans a s s. My husband then left, but the group of men was still outside of my window trying to get into my house, I then pulled out a gun as one of the men had gotten halfway through the window, and I let loose, and woke up!!!! what could this mean? I think that the sound of the gun woke me up.

Seriously, have you ever thought about it? Why did someone decide to light some weeds on fire and inhale them? I'm a smoker, but I just don't understand why anyone out of the blue would decide to smoke a plant (tobacco or marijuana). I understand why we continue, but why centuries ago did we start?
