Long before Stephen King ever wrote It, I was terrified of clowns. I still don't like them, and when I read King's book, I freaked! LOL

Creepy - long before I ever read It.

My two year old saw a clown on tv the other day and ran up crying and clinging to me.

There must be a genetic component.

I've always been kind of afraid of clowns. I think this goes back to when I went to the circus as a kid and a clown killed my dad

Clowns are just CREEPY anywhere. I thought even before I read the book IT, but especially after. I still cringe when I jog past open sewer drains...

I find them pretty creepy! The movie "It" is enough to terrify any child of clowns, though!
