We all have had days where we were in terrible moods and something happened that completely changed our day around and made the rest of the wonderful. What are some things that made that happen to you?

i love to watch people act like an @ss to people and when they climb into their car, they leave their drink on top and drive off. that's funny. and to watch my fish. they are relaxing. if I'm in a bad mood, i just sit and watch them do their thing. they are just so unaware of the world and its cruelties, all they care about is swimming and eating.
and my son. if im aggravated or whatever, i just get in the floor and play with him. he makes me smile and laugh when nothing else can make me happy. hes my world.

Courtesy unexpected. A smile from a stranger. A kindness extended when you least expected it. A surprise visit from a long time friend who moved away and you haven't seen in quite some time. An invitation to dinner by a guy friend you are kind of interested it and hopes he feels the same way about you!
Coming to work and finding that the electricity is out and won't be restored until the next day giving you the day off (this really happened and I went shopping for the day and treated myself to lunch)!

Pardon some of the smart-aleck remarks as I've just went through my 40th birthday pretty much old, broke and alone....
--finding out you have more money than what you thought you had is always a plus, even if it is rare (more likely you wind up with more *fees* than what you thought you had),
--talking with someone new and finding out they are actually nice and friendly is always a plus,
--hearing from friends, and hearing good news from them, genuinely makes my day, it is good for me to know that at least *somebody* I know or someone like me is doing ok even if I am not,
--having someone do something genuinely nice for me, no strings attached, is always a winner, though people don't seem to know how to execute that "no strings attached" part anymore.
I know, it sounds so selfish when I put it that way....makes me wonder when I am going to start doing that for others. ;) But hey, I try what I can when I have the resources to spare....so yeah, I am usually pretty laid back and understanding of the issue.

When a friend calls and talks or we meet for lunch. When a job
turns out real well. There are so many other things that can make
our days better. If we are angry at another and we forgive them, then all in right in the world!!

Sunshine, to be able to watch newly born lambs frolicking in a field, to hear children laughing, to see the stars glittering in the sky, my list is endless. There are so many wonderful things around us, many people look but don't see.

might sound weird but here are some:
-Writing a graditude list.
-Getting quiet for a second and seeing if there's anything I can do that would be nice for someone else. And doing it.
-listening to a song that makes me happy.
-watching an uplifting movie or comedy.
-reading an inspirational book --like chicken soup for the soul, for example
-reading something that I like that is positive --lately it's a little book of stories by mother teresa.
-I like wedding stuff --shows about weddings, books with pictures of wedding receptions. that makes me happy.
-seeing/calling/writing people who I adore.
-taking a bath

GOOD NEWS, surprise visits, gifts (even if it's a chocolate bar), a smile, planning vacation trips, going home earlier than expected, watching a good movie, reading a good book, fun invitations, eating at my favorite restaurant... and probably a few other things! :-)
