No, I would say that nail biting has nothing to do with intelligence. I would also say that stuttering has nothing to do with intelligence either. There are a lot of people that bite nails and stutter that are considered highly intelligent. However, I have found out that people that stutter are pretty much normal apart from their speech impediment.
I would say that nail biting has nothing to do with intelligence also b/c the only reson that people bite their nails is due to the fact that they are nervous, hungry, bored, etc. Nail biting can be caused by many factors, but none are considered to be inherited by ones parents as intelligence would be.
Intelligence is determined by your abiltility to solve puzzles, problems, and comprehend siuations based on your mind's abilites. Intelligence comes from influence and ability to learn and your genetic make up.Nail biting is habitual, sttutering is picked up by either certain nervous situations or also developemental problems. Some genetics can also be a factor, but sttutering doesn't affect intelligence.

I used to do both and I'm not real smart or I would be somewhere but here probably huh?
Offers five IQ tests, each measuring a different type of intelligence. Test just your verbal or cultural IQ, or, if you think you're really smart, try the Test for Exceptional Intelligence, which measures IQ scores up to 180.

"Gosh dynamiccharge, I apologize if this answer renders you transparent to others. but, stuttering and nail biting is no sign of higher intelligence. In fact, stuttering often means that you don't want to accept responsibility for placating someone else's desires. The stuttering simply represents two things. First, stuttering is a non-conscious behavior designed to educate your listener that you refuse to be responsible to them. Second and last, it is a mechanism you use to let your listener know (non-deliberate deception) that you're less intelligent than they are, so you need do less work for them.
In conclusion, I realize these answers may infuriate you, but please consider the facts that behaviors, such as you admit to demonstrating, are deliberate deceptions you use to avoid responsible relationships and work."

stuttering can be related to high intelligence when a very young child has more complex thoughts than his verbal skills can manage and the thoughts seem to back up in his brain as his tongue struggles to get the words out. it can also be related to anxiety, physical conditions, and probably other things. i've never heard about nail biting being about anything but a self=soothing method, but my dad and I both did it (until we stopped!) and we're both smart ;)

The director of honor's program at my university, and a real genius, stuttered terribly. The prom queen, and a true ditz, bit her nails to the quick. I think it's a sign of nerves, not intelligence. Sorry to disappoint you :)

You probably are very intelligent! But stuttering and nail biting may mean that you're self-conscious and nervous.
