I know so many online guys who are gathering self development ideas online. They want to try each and every idea they find.

They don't believe they would be able to keep track of all their personal experiments. So they bunch it all together and do whatever they can, not now, but in the future, so they say.

If you can't tell, I suffer from the same problem.

I am addicted to adopting new mindsets and expanding my views on life. People tell me I have done a stupendous job. Considering I haven't read an entire page of one book in over 9 years :)

My type of people avoid people, to become more "prepared". We scour the web looking for free information. We've got years worth of reading to do in our computers hardrive. This is nothing compared to what we could learn if we put it into practice.

Some call it perfectionism. I call it time management.

I am living my life now, how my parents, family, and culture want me to live. I think differently, I think I do at least.

I am being harassed via the Internet and I am pretty sure I know who it is. I used to do martial arts a few years back and haven’t been involved with it for sometime. Yet I am at an outdoor concert last month and afterwards this guy walks by me but he’s in my space and stares at me. I didn’t think anything of it until a few days later and remembered it was the same jerk in my class. Even though there were a few thousand people there, I guess he was mad that I was there? I have enough proof to go to my lawyer and have someone serve him papers for harassment.

My question is: Why would someone in their 40’s have to go out of their way to give someone a hard time and send virus’ to me and my friends? I don't understand this? Do you think he is mentally ill?

Does anyone else think, or have they ever thought, evolution can
go only one way now. To me, that way is the mind.
If the physical body evolves (more fingers, heads, legs etc) we try to find a cure. in the meantime, they evolving are ostracised.

Whereas, if the mind evolves, that person is regarded as fantastic, or a genius. The mind sticks out to me like a sore thumb as evolution goes.

Hi again!

If you could be given the chance of living your life again, what could you change about your life in the most helpful way?

When we are young we don't think about the future and what the destiny might bring for us. Today, I stop and think for a split second and realized that if I could go back I would make more mistakes to learn from them but would that be helpful at all?

I talk to people at times and they say that in life there is no right or wrong, that you are what you are because of the mistakes you made and influences you had.... but if we belive in this, would our lifves be better, satisfied, content?

It is hard to get older and realized that you have made really bad choices in your life. There is no way we can go back and change anything but if we could would it make any difference? you would not know for sure... would you?

Take care!

I use at least 6 alarms, all of which I turn off and go back to sleep, I've tried going to bed early but that isn't possible on most days, I keep one alarm close to bed, two near the bathroom, two at at the work table all which go off one after the other and one last one which goes off an hour later just in case I do over sleep. Usually the excuses are: '' I just need a snooze and will get up at the next alarm'' or "its too cold I'll turn the heating on, go back to bed and get up when it is warmer" or "I'm feeling dizzy so I must need more sleep" (forgetting that I can always make up for it by taking a nap during the day but must get up now), or simple NO I don't want to get up now. I always regret it later and miss out on urgent work. This has been going on for as long as I can remember. Rarely, I do get up on time but just can't keep it up. I wish I could. Can someone explain why I am so sleepy? or even better how I can get rid of this bad habit once and for all.

If emotions are composite, eg jealousy is a blend of anger and fear, which are the fundamental 'building block' emotions?

Hi

Do you think that our mentalities change as we get older or by the good and bad experiences we suffer through life?

I have been thinking about this for a while. We don't think the same every day... do we? Do we care about our needs only? Do we care about helping others? Do we get softer emotionaly or do our needs change as we get older? There are so many questions... but it only comes down to what you feel and think right now this very moment of your life.

What do you guys think?

Take Care!

really bad news? Do I just flatly say it or do I sugar coat it for her? Are you blunt when you have to tell someone something terrible? Also, how do I begin? Something like "I have bad news." or "There is something I need to talk to you about." ? What sounds less awkward?

I compose music. I can get great songs going but never finish. Sometimes I feel like it is a creative disease. I also write. Draw. Right brained stuff. I am really good with computers though as well...

I starting universuty in a few weeks, and am so worried I wont be good enough. I know I got accepted for the course, but a lot of people get in to uni nowadays. I am not the brightest in the world and I lack common sense ( something which I don't think can be improved on ). I am going to study graphic design and am worried that everyone will be at a far greater level than me. I only have ever used photoshop before, but know a lot of other people who know lots of other packages. I just worry that I willl fall behind early because of my lack on knowledge, and that I won;t have the imagination or ability to compete with the rest. I so want to do well though. Anyone out there been in this situation and survived?
