I am being harassed via the Internet and I am pretty sure I know who it is. I used to do martial arts a few years back and haven’t been involved with it for sometime. Yet I am at an outdoor concert last month and afterwards this guy walks by me but he’s in my space and stares at me. I didn’t think anything of it until a few days later and remembered it was the same jerk in my class. Even though there were a few thousand people there, I guess he was mad that I was there? I have enough proof to go to my lawyer and have someone serve him papers for harassment.

My question is: Why would someone in their 40’s have to go out of their way to give someone a hard time and send virus’ to me and my friends? I don't understand this? Do you think he is mentally ill?

Just a bit of paranoia.....
Paranoia is an excessive anxiety or fear concerning one's own well-being which is considered irrational and excessive, perhaps to the point of being a psychosis. This typically includes persecutory beliefs concerning a likely threat, or a belief in a conspiracy theory

Can you do something so that he can't contact you by internet to send a virus. You need to protect your compute w/ a firewall and virus scan program. If he harrasses you, file a police report and if he continues get a restraining order.

too bad...
maybe an unresolved issue.
you may need to get in contact with him and ask him the reason behind his actions. you have to know the deal. not until you settle this with him it's gonna vex you. and that's worse.
