I am usually the same if i start pushing snooze i stay at least 30 min more in bed, personally it is because it is very easy for me to fall asleep again.
What i do is to make a purpose to wake up early the next day and put the clock away from the bed, that way even if i want to push the snooze i have to get up and have time to remember why i had to get up early in the first place.
It is very important to "jump-start" the day in order to get up early, get to the shower or breakfast as fast as possible, put carbohydrates in it (oat meal, honey, etc., maybe even stimulants like cofee) but most important, start with a haste attitude, there is no way to rise before sunshine calmly, unless it is a long time habit.
Sleep as much as you can and try to sleep enough, personally i rest more if sleep multiples of two hours (gives time to dream and finish the dreams) i Rather sleeping two whole hours than three for instance.

Try getting a TV with an alarm feature. Set it to come on on a channel or show that will get your attention. (for me the morning news works) Use the TV along with a regular radio alarm clock and you'll find yourself hitting the snooze so you can hear the TV. (no snooze feature on the TV) Make sure you actually get up out of bed once you're awake!
It does sound like may have some type of sleep disorder, like many people. You might want to see a Dr. about that.

Perhaps you're not going to bed earlier enough in order to get enough rest. On average people feel the most rested when they get 8-9 hours of sleep a night. I take a sleeping pill because of health reasons and am so groggy in the morning that I can't get totally out of bed until I've had about nine and a half hours! It's annoying, but now I know I have to go to bed earlier. No more Jay Leno, and I love him! Good luck to you and know you are not alone!

I have struggled with this very problem all my life.
Having more than one clock doesn't work, because, as you say, you can tell yourself that you'll get up when the next one goes off. You need just one old fashioned wind-up clock with a really loud bell and no snooze facility. When it goes off it'll make you jump out of your skin, and you'll know that you HAVE to get up, 'cos it won't be going off again.
If there's something really urgent you need to get up for, get a friend to call you or set an alarm call on your phone.
I can really relate to what your saying - I'm also rubbish at getting up in the morning!!!

you need to go to bed earlier. try getting 10 hrs of sleep for 5 days in a row until ur body gets over the`sleep deprivation, then see how many hrs it really needs to be rested. But at least should get seven and a half or eight... you could have a thyroid problem, depression or a sleep disorder so you should get seen by the Doc

Once you accept the actual reality is that :
1) You do not want to get up- you want to sleep
2) You are not doing ALL you can to correct the problem
3) You do have the power to get up- you just don't want to
4) You are being irrisponsible and blaming it on other things
5) You are avoiding being uncomfortable
So, solution is... " the will to bear discomfort" bear the discomfort and do it anyways. Accept the reality that you do not like getting up, you like sleeping. That is ok, but move your muscles and remember that comfort is a WANT not a NEED.
"When you argue with reality, you lose 100% of the time"
Hope it helps

yeah i have problems waking up like a dream my alarm clock is going off and it actually is.. i hate getting up early. I just think your not getting enough sleep. Make sure the alarm clock is across the room so you have to get up. If that doesnt help get someone to help wake you up maybe?

You actually WAKE UP and then go back to sleep?
My husband used to do that, till I told him the following:
"Hey! Grow up and get out of bed! Do you need a babysitter to wake you up? You're an adult for crying out loud! Next time you wake up, you'd better **** stay awake!"
Maybe apply the above statement to yourself...?
To get myself to wake up, when my alarm goes off, I sit up. Maybe my eyes are still closed, maybe I'm still almost asleep, but since I'm SITTING, I do wake up completely within a few minutes.

You are so unhappy with your life and who you are you are afraid to face the day.
In sleep you find safety and security (if you're not having vivid or bad dreams), so there is clearly a lot of powerful stuff coming at you from your childhood and until you address these underlying issues, which may still be hidden in your unconscious, nothing is likely to change.
good luck
