some say they are onley in black and white, but i know a lady who says she dreamt she say a blue cow. I dont know if she was drubk at the time or hi on drugs. but anyway, anybody dream in color?????

I've always dreamed in color. I assume that is because I see the world in color when I am awake. But sometimes the colors in my dreams are not realistic,either. So I would not be surprised to dream about a blue cow.

For some reason it was once a common belief that dreams are only black and white. I don't know why; at least I always have colors in my dreams. I've read on several message boards people asking this question... I don't know why it keeps on popping up. Is it so hard to check next time you are dreaming :)?
Well, it's true that it may be hard to remember colors you saw in your dreams, if you haven't given them particular interest. It's just like many other things in dreams that manifest only when you concentrate on them. This can be noticed for example by looking at a clock twice in a row in your dream: most likely the time is totally different on both times. The clock doesn't actually show anything until you look at it... Same thing can happen with colors, they may change during the dream if you concentrate on them several times. Dunno, maybe this is a reason why some people have thought that there are no colors at all in our dreams...

I have dreamed in color before. I think, most of my dreams are in color. I'll have to start taking notice.
The reason I remember it, is because I remember hair color of other people in the dream, clothing color, furniture, etc..

I always dream in color. i have neven heard of black and white dreams. Maybe you are thinking of dogs.
