This woman ( feminist?? idk ) here in town is creating a big stink here at the local beach complex volley ball court. She is going shirtless and many are saying she has every right too. The police are confused about what to do because she has NO breasts whatsoever. She is flatter than a guy. Most people don't know what to think or say.... Its in Florida, so many of the older people here - think its wrong... The mayor wants her arrrested. Comments?

I can understand they want to look pretty, beautyful and sexy and to attract guys attention but in freezing temperature when even one jacket is not enough how can u expect someone walking almost naked for all the above said reason dont u think its somesthing like craziness or obsession about sex. I really cant understand it.

(I know it's kind of long but I'd love to know EVERYONES opinions, the ones I will disagree with, just as much as the ones I will agree with)

What can we do to allow men at least some sort of choices when it comes to them fathering a child, or not? Do you think anything should be changed or do you think the way it is now is the way it should stay? Do you think the father has a right to know the woman is pregnant as soon as possible after the woman finds out? Does he deserve the right to know at all?

Until we can put an aborted fetus somewhere outside of the womans body till it grows to full term and then hand it to the father, I cant think of anything that could be done to let a man choose to keep a baby that the woman decides she is going to abort. Any suggestions?

As for a man deciding that he doesnt want to be a father to a child that a woman chooses to keep, ideas are a little easier to come up with. Primary one being the man having the chance to 'opt out' of any part of the parenting of the child, including financially, if the woman decides to keep a child he doesn't want. Implementing them, the laws, conditions and policies that would have to be in place to regulate those ideas are beyond me however.

I know we arent going to solve the problems of the world here in Yahoo Answers but Im curious about peoples ideas and the diverse opinions I'm hoping to read.

Karma.

Rio Madeira has started a petition to Yahoo Answers to help stop the repeated question of why is there no mens studies area in Yahoo Answers.

Do something constructive. If you are sick of the men being here because it says Womens Studies, if you are sick of the inequality of women having their wee niche and men having nowhere or if you just feel like being a bit of an activist for the day, click the link and sign the petition. We can see if 'the masses' actually have any power or not.

Lets get Womens Studies changed to Gender Studies and see if we can get some informative, interesting and gender encompassing discussion and debate going.

Click the link and add a name- http://www.petitiononline.com/rm112289/petition.html

Oh and, if not, why not?

If, a woman can lie to a man about being on the pill, then decide to have the child anyway AND he is STILL liable for child support:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,187227,00.html

And this practice is commonplace:

http://www.salon.com/mwt/feature/1998/09/cov_23feature.html

e.g.

"A few years ago, Bill, a relative in his early 30s, told me that the woman he lived with, Lucy, had made a post-coital announcement: She wasn't using her cap anymore. She was playfully vague about revealing when she had stopped."

"A woman I know was told by her mother that "men are never ready for babies," and that consulting the prospective father of her child was therefore pointless."

[ Again, if the sexes were reversed, wouldn't the woman consider the man too predatory to be a fit father? So is she a fit mother? ]

Shouldn't men be warned that a woman's word about contraception is irrelevant to a court so therefore it should be ignored and that he should wear a condom regardless of what she says?

This is a compilation of scenes from movies that are supposed to be funny or "empowering to women":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRG1A8L2taU

Switch the sexes around and we'd have rhinoceruses with makeup parading through the streets with placards in no time.

So first of all, if feminists are about equality, and constantly complain about far more minor depictions of women in the media, why is this completely ignored?

And.. why is violence by women against men so glorified and popular in the media and representative of "female empowerment", feminists?

Is it normal for WOMEN to have such DIRTY THOUGHTS all the time? ...even INNOCENT COMMENTS could lead me into WILD FANTASY?

I'm used to thinking a lot about sex... I don't know why. In short, I could easily be very horny even by such neutral words like "toys" or "mellon".... Is it common for young women like me here?

PS: I'm 19 years old and bisexual....

They always will stop while looking for something and block the whole isle making it impossilbe to get around them.

Why can't they take and move their big fa......(O, sorry, got carried away there for a sec). Why can't they stop and park their cart to one side where one can go on by??

And, some are real bad about horning right in front of you. O! what is that? and, O! How rude.

For some reason, I like to make my girlfriends cry. I make them cry on purpose, but then afterwards I feel bad and I try to make up for it.

I usually do it at night when I talk on the phone to them.

But sometimes I even get off the phone and let them cry and be sad overnight, but then the next day when they call me I feel bad and I try to make it up.

Why do I do that? I have done that with every girl I've dated since I was young and it has been many.

I wish I could stop doing this, but for some reason once I get it started, I just have to keep it going until they cry.

I usually make them cry by making them think I don't like them anymore or by breaking up with them and then I usually make them beg me to take them back etc.

Otherwise I'm a real nice, cool guy. I never hit them or anything and I'm cool to be around....that's why they like me.

But why do I have this problem? It scares me a little...
